The food was freshly prepared and delicious. I also highly recommend the tiramisu for dessert. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive. A very nice restaurant, everything was top-notch. We'd be happy to go back.

Wow! So surprised after reading all these disgruntled reviews but my partner and I had an incredible experience here. I think a lot of it is to do with the price but to have local, high quality, house made ingredients that is absolutely worth it to us. The food was incredible - particularly the green ravioli filled with zesty ricotta and the most insane blend of fresh herbs. The tiramisu was also delicious! Probably one of the highlights for us was the local made beer and the yummy wine, was the best wine we’ve had so far in our few weeks in Italy, perfectly balanced, spicy and rich. Highly recommend this place and appreciated all the guidance from the head waitress who was so lovely and made our night special. ❤️

After all the negative reviews, we were very pleasantly surprised. The server was very friendly, the food was delicious, and the prices were perfectly reasonable.

The largest restaurant around Lake Dobbiaco. Nothing special, but not too inconvenient. Or maybe the fact that you can eat this quality in this location is an advantage. You can eat while looking at the beautiful lake. The trout is not fishy and is edible. Overall, it's not a bad place (there are no other options around anyway)

I had 703 Wiener Schnitzel (22 euros) and 777 Grilled Trout (26 euros). The portions are large, the schnitzel is just okay, and the trout is especially delicious. I also had white wine and lemonade and they were delicious.

My experience on 10-5-2025 🫶🏻 Honestly, the coffee on the lake is very beautiful 🤩 We ordered apple cake with ice cream 🍦 And 3 cappuccinos and espresso maccato ☕️ In all honesty, I asked for a chocolate solution to the one who was placing the order. She said that it does not contain alcohol and so on 👌 They are very helpful and their behavior is wonderful 🫶🏻

Very nice staff, fast and good cuisine. We felt very welcome and came back for dinner a second time.

I had the pleasure of having lunch at the Il Fienile restaurant, an enchanting location overlooking Lake Dobbiaco. The atmosphere is welcoming, with modern interiors and a splendid view of the mountains, perfect for a relaxing break after a day outdoors on Lake Dobbiaco. The menu offers an excellent selection of typical South Tyrolean dishes, all prepared with fresh ingredients and well presented. I particularly appreciated the quality of the meat and the first courses, which were really tasty. The only shame: they didn't have the classic local frankfurters, a detail that I would have appreciated to complete the typical experience. The service was courteous and fast and the prices were average for the area. Overall, Il Fienile is an excellent restaurant, perfect for those looking for good food in a spectacular natural setting. I will definitely be back, hoping to find the frankfurters next time!

Food of decent quality, but plentiful. There are no boiled potatoes in the Tyrolean dish!! A bit of a "cold" environment, a mix of modern and traditional that wasn't 100% successful for me. Fantastic location. Friendly and quick staff.
