After visiting the Twin Waterfalls, we came across this restaurant in Faedis. Excellent welcome, they let us sit outside which, despite the heat, was comfortable. We ordered: Pappardelle with porcini mushrooms (large portion) one portion Veal with tuna sauce (one portion) Baked potatoes (one portion) Austrian-style potatoes (one portion) 1/2 liter of house wine (merlot) 2 bottles of water A generous slice of Gubana soaked in Slivovitz 2 coffees All very good and for a bill of 54 euros. It should be noted that I wasn't able to finish the pappardelle and potatoes, I had them wrapped up to take home. I recommend this restaurant for the kindness of the owner, for the quality of the dishes and for the bill. If I'm in the area again I will definitely go back.

08/07/2024: Warnung vorab: Das Familienunternehmen mit angeschlossener Vinothek ist für Schnellesser nicht zu empfehlen, aber für Menschen mit ausgeprägtem Sozialneid völlig ungeeignet! Wer aber Ruhe will und Zeit mitbringt und dem es nicht stört, dass vor allem vermögende und gepflegte, ältere Italiener mit schönen Autos hier Stammgäste sind, der bekommt einen gastronomischen Genuss. Die beiden Ü 70 Patrone im Service, sind nicht nur Gentleman alter Schule mit weißen Hemd, Weste und Fliege, sondern bieten auch exzellente Gastlichkeit mit italienscher Meeresküche an. Das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis ist aufgrund der Top Qualität der Speisen und Getränke und der sehr angenehmen Ambiente, absolut angemessen.
23/05/2024: Da quello che ho capito il ristorante è in fase di grosso cambiamento: menù più corto, meno posti a sedere, ecc. Non è detto che sia una scelta negativa, anche perchè, ed è semplicemente una constatazione, il locale stava invecchiando insieme ai suoi gestori, provocando un pò di rimpianto per i "bei tempi". Staremo a vedere ma, per quanto mi riguarda, sono certo che troveranno una dimensione più consona alla loro attuale situazione, senza rinunciare alla qualità delle materie prime, scelta che ha lo ha fatto eccellere nel panorama lignanese da diversi decenni.
