We had an incredible dining experience at Sapori e Saperi. This is a must for a beautiful evening in this magical borgo. The imaginative food was delicious and the staff were friendly and welcoming, going above and beyond to make us feel at home. We were given a tour of the converted 16th century convent building, which included a glass floor in the dining room offering views of ancient Greek and Roman excavations. The cellar has been carefully restored and now is used for wine tastings. They also have beautifully decorated guest suites with period antiques and stunning views. We met the kind and welcoming owner, Maurizio, who served us homemade Apple cake and liqueur. It was truly a magical night.

Very welcoming place, with very friendly and efficient staff. Very little waiting time between courses. The food, cooked in an excellent manner, is of excellent quality, with a taste that is difficult to find elsewhere... congratulations to the owners for their skill and their big heart in helping those splendid boys

Tutto davvero eccellente. Dall'antipasto al primo, dal secondo al dolce, compreso il liquore a fine pasto prodotto da loro e dal vino consigliato. Personale gentilissimo, bellissima location, esperienza molto positiva. Complimenti.

Questo ristorante è ormai il punto di riferimento della mia famiglia quando ci troviamo sulla costa: servizio attento e cortese, presente ma mai invadente; cucina ottima che ieri sera ha meritato continui complimenti nei confronti dello chef e del suo staff; collocato in paese in una location intima che consente di trovare ristoro dopo giornate e serate di afa insopportabile. Ottimo tutto, menzione speciale per gli spaghetti alle alici e il maialino nero. Da scegliere se si vuole andare sul sicuro per mangiare bene e in pace.

02/11/2024: We had the pleasure of having lunch in this typical Calabrian restaurant, and the experience was truly unforgettable. The welcoming atmosphere and traditional-style furnishings made us feel immediately immersed in the culture of the place. The dishes offered express the true flavors of Calabria, with extremely fresh and excellent quality ingredients. Special thanks go to the waiter Lorenzo, who with his professionalism and helpfulness made lunch even more pleasant. Always attentive and smiling, he recommended the specials of the day and accompanied us in choosing the dishes, suggesting perfect combinations. His knowledge of the menu and wines allowed us to fully appreciate each course. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for an authentic Calabrian experience: each dish is a journey into traditional flavors, and Lorenzo's impeccable service makes everything even more special.

26/08/2024: Abbiamo scelto questo ristorante per una cena in famiglia per festeggiare l’anniversario di matrimonio durante la nostra vacanze ad Amantea. Pesce molto buono (non eccellente) e piatti ben preparati. A mio modesto parere c’è ancora del lavoro da fare prima di raggiungere un ottimo livello, ma i proprietari sono giovani, pieni di entusiasmo e meritano di crescere e migliorare. Ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo.
25/08/2024: Sono ormai 3 anni che passiamo le vacanze di Agosto ad Amantea ed è l'occasione per tornare sempre più spesso al Ristorante Radici Bazzarelli. Cibo con pesce ottimo, fresco e cucinato perfettamente. Quest'anno in occasione di un compleanno abbiamo gustato l'astice alla catalana che è diventato il nostro piatto preferito. Complimenti a tutto lo staff ed in particolare ai fratelli titolari per come accolgono, gestiscono tutti gli ospiti. Inoltre la calorosa accoglienza del loro papà è sinonimo delle "Radici" che continuano nelle generazioni. Grazie ancora di tutto e congratulazioni. A presto! Roma Family.
