Ristorante Santa Cristina al Quirinale In Roma

We bring our most important guests here from the ANGELICUM - the Pontifical University of St. Thomas Aquinas, nearby. The restaurant is family owned and tucked in between buildings. The atmosphere is quiet so you can actually have a normal conversation. The food is the very best to be found in Rione Monti. It is really a hidden gem of our neighborhood. We personally know the owners. The mother "Cristina" cooks in the back with the father, and the son and his wife are the main waiters. You will find their dogs and children running around on occasion - truly a surreal experience of Rome that is not very often found any more - just next to the Roman Forum. My favorite is the Lasagna with onions and Gruyere cheese. Ask Enrico (the son) to take photo of you and see what happens 😂.

Tucked away but an absolute gem even in busy season. The food was incredible, great portions and WONDERFUL service. A family owned business and hoping they stay in business for many more generations!

Excellent food, great service and the best original pasta dish in Rome

One of the best restaurants I've eaten at during my visits to Italy. A family-run place where you can enjoy the best traditional Italian food, served by the owners themselves. Highly recommended if you're visiting Rome. All I can say is, I'll be back.

Serenity in Rome in a restaurant improves life. First time for lunch. The good taste of the Italian Family comes true in the welcome, in the furnishings for the attention to detail, in the menu of a sincere cuisine that listens to the Customer and does not impose itself. The service? It seems like you have always been Customers since the first meeting. Above all, an enviable position. So a truly: Hurray!

We had lunch here after touring the Colosseum. The food and service were outstanding. One of the best meals we had on our trip. Pasta with swordfish was a standout as was a deep fried pizza starter. I hope to return some day!

Fuimos aquí para una comida, ya que estaba a 100 metros de nuestro apartamento de vacaciones y queríamos experimentar un restaurante tradicional de gestión familiar. El restaurante en sí está bien presentado y la parte delantera de la casa es amable con el personal. Pedimos lasaña, pimienta negra y limón. Junto con vino blanco de la casa, que era muy agradable. La comida era muy buena, bien presentada y no tuvimos quejas. Este era un encantador lugar dirigido por la familia y volveríamos si alguna vez visitamos Roma de nuevo.

Ambiente raffinato. Un posto speciale, dove si mangia benissimo, cucina locale raffinata. Ottima carta di vini. Servizio impeccabile.
