Ristorante Santa Cristina al Quirinale In Roma

All excellent! I ordered based off of other reviews and the filet mignon with honey and black peppercorn was great. Do remember to order something as a side dish, it completes the meal. The apple pie dessert was phenomenal too. When we were there, we were alone - I heard from our hotel personnel that it's actually quite busy in summertime. It deserves to be, anyhow.

On our first evening in Rome we had dinner at the Santa Cristina al Quirinale restaurant. We met Enrico: the service was excellent, as if we were at home. The food was great. We recommend you stop and come in to eat. An excellent evening!

The restaurant environment is truly welcoming, especially thanks to Enrico who pampers his customers and makes them feel at ease. Even though it is in the center, it is really quiet, without hearing or seeing the city traffic. The cuisine is spectacular, especially Francesca's carbonara and also the pasta with courgettes. (I love them!!!) Overall, a highly recommended restaurant! I can't wait to go back!!

Love having a meal at a place that treats you like family! Enrico (spelling?) was amazing, genuine and a superb host. Must also mention his parents, who prepared the deliciousness we had. We enjoyed this so much we came back two days later. Well worth your time. Oh yeah, the apple pie is so amazing, yes apple pie! Would also like to thank them for introducing me to Possito!

Typical family restaurant. Excellent and genuine food. Nice place and friendly and helpful staff. Absolutely worth trying.

I've been to this restaurant probably 15 times in my month in Rome. I love it so much! I'm very picky about food — I just love their cooking. It's rare that I can eat at a restaurant so much but their food is just so amazing, everything is exquisite. I have had almost every pasta they have many times — amatriciana, cacio e pepe, many other. I love their insalatina mista. Their Neapolitan pizza is to die for. I also really like their red house wine and have it often. Their lasagna is some of the very best I've had in Italy in my 2 months here. Amazing! Today I tried their steak for the first time — best steak I've ever had, easily. They use Danish filet mignon — it seems like it's pan fried (I could be wrong about this but I think it is) — the sauce was perfect -- peppercorns with some honey (I think?) and parlsey (I think?) -- gave it this tangy flavor. Some of the best steak I've ever had and it's really different from anything you get in the states. It's very close to my hotel and I love coming here. They treat me well and the food is really good. If you don't want just generic tourist nonsense, come here. Food is fine everywhere in Italy but the other day I was out somewhere in Rome and I had amatriciana at another restaurant — it wasn't bad, just kind of generic tourist food. Here — everything is exquisite. You can literally order everything off the menu and it comes out amazing but my favorites are — insalatina mista, Neapolitan pizza, amatriciana, lagasna, cacio e pepe, black pepper steak (to die for), roast potatoes side, there are so many thing I haven't tried before. I'm coming back tomorrow for more steak. You have got to come here! I'm really happy there are people who can cook that well and understand good food. I never regretted eating here. They treat me really well too as a repeat customer and I appreciate it. But if it's a restaurant — it's all about the food — and this is some of the very best food I've had in Rome and in Italy as a whole. They rock! Also, I really like the setting — there's space in between tables, pleasant music, you can talk. Come here if you want to eat great food!

This is my favorite restaurant in Rome. I was here every night probably for 2 weeks. The food is the best I've had in Rome and some of the best in Italy. My favorites are -- insalatina mista, one of the best mixed salads I've had -- I love their lasagna, amatriciana, cacio e pepe, their pizza Neapolitana appetizer is absolutely incredible. Just their house red wine is amazingly good. I'm very picky about food and their food is incredible. I'm back in Rome again now and just went to another restaurant for a change -- was fine but the amatriciana is better here and I was telling myself, should have just come here. Their lasagne is also some of the best I've had -- the pasta is very tender and the sauces are very balanced, rich enough but not greasy. Everytime I tried another restaurant in Rome, I regretted it and every time I come here I leave happy and satisfied. I've probably been here around 14 times now, alone and with friends/family -- every timer was great! I recommend them highly

We were excited to enjoy a wonderful dining experience upon reading all of the excellent reviews. Unfortunately, this was not the case. The beef (Danish Filet) and other meat dishes were not tender or flavorful. The lamb was overcooked and the fish was a mix of good and bad. The swordfish rigatoni and classic lasagna were good pasta dishes. The prawns were not fresh and when this was told to the owner, he became very defensive and rude. Others may be happy with this restaurant, but, unfortunately my party of five was not. There are plenty of other restaurants to choose from while in Rome.

Este es un pequeño restaurante de propiedad familiar escondido cerca de Via Nazionale que sirve comida increíble. Teníamos la pasta con crema de limón Amalfi y la cebolla gruyere lasaña. Ambos estaban deliciosos, pero la pasta con crema de limón era excepcional. Nunca hemos probado un plato como este en Italia. El servicio era excelente y el ambiente era relajante. Este es un lugar para los lugareños y estábamos emocionados de encontrarlo. Volveremos. Gracias por una comida maravillosa.
