Ristorante Santa Cristina al Quirinale In Roma

We had the pleasure of dining at Santa Cristina on our last evening in Rome, and it was an unforgettable experience. The restaurant is small and charming, with a warm, welcoming atmosphere that instantly makes you feel at home. The food was exceptional – every dish was beautifully prepared, but the highlight for us was the onion and cheese lasagna. It was one of the best dishes we’ve had in Italy, full of rich flavors and perfect textures. The service was outstanding, and the owner Enrico was incredibly kind and attentive. It’s clear that this restaurant is run with love and a genuine passion for hospitality and great food. If you’re looking for an authentic and intimate dining experience in Rome, we highly recommend Santa Cristina. This hidden gem deserves to be discovered by anyone who appreciates excellent Italian cuisine!

Our family all had amazing meals! The service was amazing!!! The steak and apple pie were absolutely delicious!!!

The sweet and sour pork sauce on the steak menu is delicious. As soon as I took one bite, I was like, sweet and sour pork?! It was delicious. The fried pizza was so so... the carbonara was a little salty but delicious, and the caprese was delicious. And the apple pie is really delicious (highly recommended if you like cinnamon) and goes well with espresso..!! The male owner joked cheerfully and the atmosphere of the restaurant was comfortable and very nice.

The meals were good. They were a little small and not exactly our favorite, but they were good. There is a dog that roams around inside, which I know, this is another country, maybe that's quite expectable. The service wasn't the best. The waiter reached right in front of my fiancé, over the dish he was eating out of, just to take away the napkin ring and put it in a pile (it's not like they were busy and short on napkin rings). I thought that was very rude. The door was a little hard to close and as we tried harder to close it, the waiter made a snarky remark 'it's just a door' (not sure what he meant by that, but I'm sure he would have also made remark it we left it open!) We tried it because it was in the same alley way as our hotel. Would we try it again? Not sure as there are a million places to eat within walking distance in Rome.

All excellent! I ordered based off of other reviews and the filet mignon with honey and black peppercorn was great. Do remember to order something as a side dish, it completes the meal. The apple pie dessert was phenomenal too. When we were there, we were alone - I heard from our hotel personnel that it's actually quite busy in summertime. It deserves to be, anyhow.

On our first evening in Rome we had dinner at the Santa Cristina al Quirinale restaurant. We met Enrico: the service was excellent, as if we were at home. The food was great. We recommend you stop and come in to eat. An excellent evening!

The restaurant environment is truly welcoming, especially thanks to Enrico who pampers his customers and makes them feel at ease. Even though it is in the center, it is really quiet, without hearing or seeing the city traffic. The cuisine is spectacular, especially Francesca's carbonara and also the pasta with courgettes. (I love them!!!) Overall, a highly recommended restaurant! I can't wait to go back!!

Love having a meal at a place that treats you like family! Enrico (spelling?) was amazing, genuine and a superb host. Must also mention his parents, who prepared the deliciousness we had. We enjoyed this so much we came back two days later. Well worth your time. Oh yeah, the apple pie is so amazing, yes apple pie! Would also like to thank them for introducing me to Possito!

Este es un pequeño restaurante de propiedad familiar escondido cerca de Via Nazionale que sirve comida increíble. Teníamos la pasta con crema de limón Amalfi y la cebolla gruyere lasaña. Ambos estaban deliciosos, pero la pasta con crema de limón era excepcional. Nunca hemos probado un plato como este en Italia. El servicio era excelente y el ambiente era relajante. Este es un lugar para los lugareños y estábamos emocionados de encontrarlo. Volveremos. Gracias por una comida maravillosa.
