Close to our hotel and looking for a place to eat our first night in town, couldn’t have found someplace better to start off our trip! Delicious, crispy fried pizza and perfectly ripe tomatoes in the Caprese, pasta cooked to perfection, and a piece of chocolate cake to finish the meal

The food was amazing! My wife and I were looking for a traditional Italian restaurant, and are very happy we found this place. The staff were very helpful and personable. I highly recommend their homemade pasta, I would definitely recommend to friends.

Fuimos aquí para una comida, ya que estaba a 100 metros de nuestro apartamento de vacaciones y queríamos experimentar un restaurante tradicional de gestión familiar. El restaurante en sí está bien presentado y la parte delantera de la casa es amable con el personal. Pedimos lasaña, pimienta negra y limón. Junto con vino blanco de la casa, que era muy agradable. La comida era muy buena, bien presentada y no tuvimos quejas. Este era un encantador lugar dirigido por la familia y volveríamos si alguna vez visitamos Roma de nuevo.

Pranzato oggi con la famiglia, tutto perfetto! Proprietaria cordiale e molto gentile, piatti buonissimi, carciofi da Oscar!!! Tra i migliori mai provati... tutto perfetto! Lo consiglio sicuramente! Bello anche perché è leggermente fuori dal passaggio turistico... quindi perfetto!

Trattoria Al Gran Sasso

05/10/2025: So, my wife and I came unexpectedly last Tuesday around 1 p.m. and we were very well received. We don't speak Italian, and the waiter did the best he could in English... until he told us that his colleague/boss spoke very good French (we're French)... and then the experience changed completely. The lady, incredibly kind and passionate, talked us through all the dishes on the menu and recommended mushrooms (I don't normally like mushrooms) and pasta with white ragout in incredible French without any accent (okay, she admitted she spent her entire childhood in France). We took everything she recommended and we had a great time. So, impeccable service, incredible food, and kindness (and French) that deserved the highest possible rating... we had a great time. THANK YOU!!
04/10/2025: We sat in the restaurant as a family of 8 people, including children. The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and the prices were reasonable.

01/10/2025: The food is excellent and the dishes are truly typical Roman dishes. The service is good, with the waiters being very kind and helpful. The atmosphere is rustic, like a Roman trattoria, and the prices are a bit high.
21/09/2025: At Pelliccione... a guarantee Roman cuisine is a true delight Not to mention the desserts, a treat for the palate.
