Ristorante San Lucchese In Poggibonsi

Excellent food and excellent service.

Upon arriving in Poggibonsi, Tuscany, I immediately booked this restaurant. And although it gives a somewhat spartan impression upon entering, this restaurant is highly recommended! The staff is incredibly friendly and can even speak English. The starters, main courses, and desserts were all delicious (I had the caramelized onion in a crispy coating, and homemade pasta with wild boar (Pici al Ragu) and Cantuccini with Vinsanto). The wine recommendation (Cesani's Vernaccia di San Gimignano) was also excellent. So if you're in Tuscany and near Poggibonsi, don't miss this restaurant—it's definitely worth a visit! We went in late September, so we couldn't appreciate the view, but it's apparently beautiful as well.

A delicious dinner, with carefully prepared, flavorful, and unique dishes. The entire staff was incredibly kind, including the delightful chef, who agreed to share a recipe with us. We greatly appreciated their kindness and patience with our children. Highly recommended, especially considering the quality/price ratio. An elegant location with a unique view. If in the area, we will definitely return.

We visited this top restaurant and couldn't be more thrilled! The location is simply unique, with a cloister creating an enchanting atmosphere and a panoramic terrace offering a breathtaking view. The food was simply delicious! We ordered the Florentine steak and the crème brûlée, both exquisite and prepared with care and attention. The value for money was excellent, considering the quality of the service and the dishes. But what really made the difference was the staff. They were fabulous, making you feel pampered and at home. Their kindness and professionalism were impeccable. In short, a culinary experience not to be missed! If you're looking for a restaurant with a unique location, delicious food, and excellent service, this is the place for you. 10/10!

Per un evento di famiglia abbiamo scelto il ristorante San Lucchese. Siamo stati molto bene, il servizio è gentile, presente ma discreto. Piatti ottimi e rapporto qualità prezzo eccellente. Il ristorante si trova in posizione panoramica, adiacente alla basilica francescana di San Lucchese e vicino alla Fortezza.
