A restaurant recommended to me that was a wonderful surprise.
Excellent and light fried gnocco.
Exceptional cured meats, the coppa was a delight.
The pisarei and fasó were more than good.
The nettle ravioli were exceptional.
The wild boar melted in my mouth.
The staff were kind, friendly, and always available.
The house wine, Gutturnio, was excellent.

A restaurant where even the fried gnocco is light and easy to digest. Superb local cuisine! Spectacular views of the hills... a local wine that is nectar. Family hospitality that goes far beyond "service." The cured meats cellar, moreover, deserves guided tours from abroad. A true feast...

Excellent restaurant serving traditional Piacenza cuisine. Quality, abundance, courtesy, and kindness. The owner, Cristina (a great chatterbox 🤣), is truly on top of the game. Always attentive and helpful. Local wines and cured meats. Definitely worth a try.

On Sunday, November 23, 2025, we had lunch at this restaurant with friends.
The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, as was the very kind Mrs. Cristina and all her staff.
We ate a lot and enjoyed it, from appetizer to dessert, all the food was excellent and homemade.
I'll definitely be back and recommend it to everyone.

Excellent Sunday lunch with our group of friends, from appetizers to dessert, with superior quality, very good... I had dinner with friends from Piacenza I met on a trip. A very charming, peaceful location.
To start, we chose a platter of cured meats (magnificent coppa) to enjoy with fried gnocchi.
We then sampled three traditional Piacenza first courses: porcini mushroom risotto, handmade tortelli with ricotta, and pisarei e faso.
To finish, homemade desserts served in generous portions.
I'd love to return in the summer to enjoy the veranda.
As a local from Puglia....a top spot!!

Excellent value for money, prompt and fast service (kudos to the staff). Sunday lunch with a guided menu featuring gnocco fritto, cured meats, and pickled vegetables. Mushroom risotto + pisarei & fasó. Braised wild boar and polenta. Wide selection of desserts and coffee, water, and wine. All for €38! Paved public parking before reaching the restaurant + private unpaved parking up the hairpin bend to the right after the restaurant. I recommend booking as they were sold out.

Lunch at San Giorgio is always a real pleasure!
The food is top-quality, with generous portions and truly delicious flavors. The birthday cake was exceptional, worthy of the best pastry chef.
