On Sundays, there's a fixed-price menu. Lots of delicious appetizers with vegetables, cold cuts, and fried gnocco. Truly delicious. Then two first courses: really good pisarei and mushroom risotto. For the second course, veal with tuna sauce and baked potatoes were delicious. The desserts were excellent: berry cheesecake, panna cotta, and semifreddo. Everything was excellent and highly recommended.

Excellent food. Unfortunately, the bill was unclear and overall high. There was no menu with prices, but we ordered based on the waitress's verbal description. We ordered three dishes (tortelli with nettles, pasta and beans, roast beef) and a bottle of water for a total of €45. We thought we'd ordered à la carte, but the bill said "fixed menu for 3." €15 per dish seemed really excessive, especially considering that no one explained to us that we'd ordered a fixed menu and that dessert and coffee might therefore be included (MAYBE?).

Beautiful terrace overlooking the Piacenza hills. The interior is a bit dark, but the outside makes up for it with a wonderful atmosphere. Excellent quality, traditional Piacenza cuisine, served in a welcoming, family atmosphere. The staff was friendly and helpful. We had a set lunch menu (about €35-40 per person), full of tasty and well-prepared dishes. Reservations recommended.

Typical Piacenza cuisine, professional and attentive service. We dined on the porch overlooking a beautiful view and the sunset towards the hinterland. Average value for money. A full dinner costs around €50.00 per person. Reservations are recommended, and they also welcome our beloved four-legged friends.

The restaurant has a very pleasant outdoor space, in a hilly area with a pleasant breeze. The food is high-quality, with a wide selection. Everything is very good. The staff is friendly and helpful. We went on a Saturday for lunch, and the atmosphere was quiet. We will definitely be back.

Agriturismo Il Corniolo

24/08/2025: We had a truly positive experience, and will be back soon for lunch or dinner at this Agriturismo. The warm welcome and the exceptional quality of the food make Corniolo one of the best places in the province.
04/08/2025: One of those places I thought no longer existed, a peaceful and pleasant atmosphere. Federico, a superb chef, has managed to blend Piacenza flavors with Greek specialties. His very kind and friendly mother and father make you feel welcome, like an old friend returning home. The food is delicious; for starters, in addition to the delicious cold cuts, there were: carne salada, baked feta, plums with almonds and pancetta, and stuffed tomatoes. For the first course, the mousaka was fabulous; the pisarei e faso were very different from the classic recipe but delicious, and the tortelli were excellent. We didn't quite get to the second course; after the first course, we had the homemade berry panna cotta, which was excellent. Give it a try, it's truly worth it; we hope to return soon.

08/08/2025: I'm reviewing the restaurant: it's a nice place with an outdoor area, and the tortelli aren't bad, which is why I'm giving it 3 stars (although the portions aren't particularly generous). During our last visit, however, we noticed that they're strict about seating. We asked if we could sit somewhere (more outdoors, not near the bathroom) and were told no, even though it remained empty. And above all, once we were seated, we were ignored for quite a while; they didn't even look at us to give us menus or even take our order for water. When I finally asked for the menu, the manager looked at me in an annoyed way, as if I'd bothered him. In short, the service leaves a lot to be desired for what we experienced.
06/08/2025: We stopped there by chance and it was a wonderful experience! We were very well received and given excellent advice on the menu and local specialties! It was excellent!
