Nice cafe/bar next to the basilica. Espresso at the table for €2, cappuccino soy for €3.50, which is okay. The chocolate biscuit from the counter was dry. It's good for a quick stop after the basilica, but there are nicer cafes in the city center.

After the beautiful but warm day in Assisi, we also visited the basilica and then passed by this lovely and quaint restaurant. The kids had been asking for ice cream for a while, so we sat down and received very friendly service. Unfortunately, we can't say much more about the food, as we "only" enjoyed a very delicious ice cream. I highly recommend the ice cream; you'll have to try the food for yourself...😜
