I was in Borno for the Transhumance Festival. I had lunch in a bright, spotlessly clean room overlooking the green mountains. All tables enjoy the view (perfectly spaced). The welcome was warm and attentive. I chose a meat and fish menu at the recommendation of my hosts: a mixed seafood appetizer (it seemed so strange to choose one in the mountains) with surprising octopus and baby octopus: they were perfectly tender. The traditional casoncelli were truly excellent, and to finish, their interpretation of tiramisu (they have creative desserts). I really appreciated the cream and the excellent quality of the chocolate chips, which, if they're not good, ruin everything. Good value.

Located beneath the hotel of the same name, the restaurant enjoys a wonderful view. Inside, there are several tables with windows to admire the panorama. We dined outside. The staff was efficient and friendly. We ordered three seafood appetizers, each consisting of six courses. All were very good, especially the octopus with potatoes and baby octopus alla Luciana, and a smoked seafood appetizer, all accompanied by French fries and battered zucchini flowers. For our first course, we all ordered the risotto with red shrimp, raspberries, and balsamic bubbles. The ingredients were very good. The only negative was the lack of creaminess. For wine, we ordered a bottle of Gewurztraminer and a half-liter of Prosecco. We didn't order anything else because we were satisfied with the quality and quantity. Amaro (a bitter liqueur) was offered. The price was truly attractive. There's also a meat and mushroom menu. Highly recommended. Four-legged friends are welcome.

15/11/2025: ...first time in the Boario area... it was a very pleasant surprise to see the potential of this area, which isn't overly touristy and therefore not overly crowded. ...we chose this hotel for a few days... ...an absolutely perfect choice for us and our needs...we had a truly wonderful time. ...family-run, we always received support and advice, including on what to do each day of our stay...everyone was always friendly and smiling. ...as well as all-round attention within the facility. The room was cleaned very well every day, and breakfast offered a wide selection, especially sweet options, but also seasonal fruit and savory options. We opted for the half-board option, and I must say that the dinners lived up to our expectations. Congratulations! ..the outdoor pool is small, but since we live by the sea, taking a dip wasn't a priority for us... ...the gym area is also small, but it's large enough to loosen up after long walks and workouts planned daily... Free indoor parking... more than adequate...I think I even saw a couple of spots for electric cars. ...if we return to the area, we'll probably choose them again...it's worth it!!
18/10/2025: I recommend this hotel, located right in the center of Boario Terme. It's an older hotel, but well-renovated and elegant. The staff is truly friendly and helpful. The breakfast is excellent and plentiful. The location is quiet and convenient. They also accept the Emozione3 gift card.
