Cozy, elegant restaurant, great service and excellent food! We ate delicious typical dishes, including desserts, and the price was also very honest. I particularly recommend the manfrigole! We will definitely be back

Having returned from a tasting in the nearby cellar, the San Carlo restaurant was an excellent continuation, where you could taste local cuisine but not only. Ancient environments revisited in a modern key; professional, friendly and never intrusive service; a wine list up to par.
We were all satisfied with this lunch.
I count in the norm.
I think it's the place where I ate best in the short holiday between Tirano and St. Moritz.

great food and professional staff. ate really well. excellent venison, marinated trout and desserts. I found the CBT egg good but not excellent, in my opinion it lacked a boost of flavour. Anyway, congratulations, I will definitely come back.

Congratulations to Carlo and Giovanna, seeing two young people prepared and with a desire to innovate is a rare advantage nowadays.
Restaurant side: We were served really well by each waiter and the waiters welcomed us with the utmost respect and professionalism. The restaurant has a typical setting and the dishes are rich in flavours. I didn't know there was a swimming pool and spa on the upper floors so I can't wait to try them. Congratulations again

Cucina molto curata con selezione piatti locali di qualità sia primi, sia secondi . Ottimi anche i dolci presentato al carrello. Anche la cantina presenta le migliori cantine autoctone, tra queste anche le minori ma di ottima qualità.

We spent almost four weeks in the blissful and blessed and blissful area of Valtellina which - besides its high quality wines - offers some very special local dishes you find nowhere else. Pizzocheri, Schiatt, Taroz, Polenta Taragna, Tzigoiner, Gnocchetti with blueberries, ..., ...
So here you find them everywhere, and not much else; besides standard grilled meats.
Not so at San Carlo!
Sure, they offer these, too, and probably particularly nicely prepared - but: they also offer a few dishes out of the ordinary, of extreme fine composition and imagination. We were enthused about the carrot cream soup with ginger, candied lemons, and mussels, and about the duck breast with demi glace of raspberries! And several other creations.
Almost needless to say, nice atmosphere under vaulted ceilings, nice service (seventh generation family business), excellent wine list - THE place to go if you want to eat really nicely!
