Historic family-run establishment. Traditional Roman and Amatrician cuisine. The quality of the raw material is remarkable. The best "vignarola" I have ever tasted. Strongly recommended.

Let's start with the parking lot. The entrance is barely visible at night. He forced us to do the lap again coming out of the GRA. The place is a little dated in Moorish style with aluminum frames. The figure of the ham cutter near the cash registers and not in the kitchen is not very exciting. Coming to the food. Pizzas not taken but seen spinning. They are minimal and almost certainly electric. Our dishes were good. With the exception of the spaghetti with clams which were too garlicky and too al dente. Super tasty amatriciana and excellent and plentiful parmigiana. Curiously, the waiters and waiters appear to be quite elderly

A second home...we always return with pleasure: tradition and quality confirmed! Very rich starters, such as hand-cut raw ham or Giudia-style and Roman-style artichokes. The first courses also recall tradition: the gricia and the polenta with sausage and ribs are excellent. The grilled meat, braised meat and stuffed courgette flowers are spectacular. You can't help but finish with the homemade desserts, the tiramisu (excellent!) or the tarts. In the evening it is possible to order pizzas; above all, in the spring period it is always advisable to book (season of races at the Hippodrome and various banquets).

A must if you want to try typical cuisine from Rome.
The restaurant is near the Capannelle Hippodrome, with a spacious parking space. The atmosphere reminds me of the old restaurants from my childhood and the service is very friendly and welcoming.
The meal was superb: meals very traditional and tasty, that you don't want to miss anything from the starters to the dessert.
Definitely recommended and it will become my treat every time I come back to Rome.

Un classico ristorante romano perfetto per chi vuole evitare la folla di turisti e godersi un’atmosfera tranquilla. La cucina tipica laziale è semplicemente deliziosa, con piatti che rispettano la tradizione locale. Il cibo è ottimo, e il servizio è impeccabile, con personale attento e cordiale. Consiglio vivamente la pasta all’amatriciana, ma tutto ciò che ho assaggiato è stato buono. Un’esperienza autentica che consiglio senza esitazione!

Ristorante alla vecchia maniera, si respira l’aria degli anni 90. Camerieri un po’ confusionari, oltre mezz’ora per prendere l’ordinazione ma successivamente il servizio è stato celere. Il ristorante era pieno, il cibo nella media. La gricia (o amatriciana bianca) era decisamente buona, peccato per la scarsa porzione. La carne buona ma senza eccellere. È un posto sicuramente consigliato per una cena tra amici senza troppe pretese. Prezzi in linea. Consigliato
