Walked up about 1915 and asked for a table outside (inside kinda smelt funny). Got a table, gave menus and forgot us. Literally. Waiter hugely apologetic once he realised. I wanted to try local dishes which is why we picked here, most not available. Ok. Food came. Nice enough but not great. Used the bathroom. I’m so over no toilet seat and/or no toilet paper here in Italy. Seriously, how difficult is it? We had 2 mains, 1 salad, 2 x 1/2 litre wine and 1 dessert and water €60. Value???? Tasted ok but not fabulous compared to previous nights dinner. Yes we chose to sit outside bcoz inside was stuffy and smelt odd. But then we had to contend with outside traffic and smokers. Mmmm

In addition to the impeccable service and very friendly staff, the food was really good, the cold cuts and cheese platter was exquisite and the pici were delicious!! We will definitely be back!

L'Osteria dei Rossi is located in the historic center, just minutes from Piazza di Campo. It specializes in Tuscan cuisine. I dined here all four nights of my stay in Siena, and I can say I was very satisfied. The Tuscan cuisine is full of flavor and well-prepared, prepared with love. I enjoyed every single one of them. Many thanks to the wait staff, who are professional and charming, and make you feel right at home. Thank you, Manuele, for your attention and suggestions, and to the kitchen staff. I highly recommend it!

The staff were very kind, helpful, and welcoming. It's a nice place, but when I think of an osteria, I think of home-made, hearty, and tasty food. The portions here are small, the flavor isn't very intense, and the prices are TOO high. Adjust the quality to the price, or adjust the prices to the quality. Three stars for now, but I hope to improve this rating in the future.

You'll be transported back in time. The interior is modest, but full of soul. A small family restaurant, fantastic service, and amazing cuisine. Simple and delicious. I recommend the fried porcini mushrooms and more.

Excellent service and all the food was delicious. Even though we arrived at 2:50 PM and were a group of eight, we were greeted very warmly.
