Family-run restaurant, classic Piedmontese appetizers available individually or in complete tasting. Excellent raw veal, peppers with bagna cauda and strictly fresh-cut cold cuts. The free-range ravioli with roast sauce is a must, and sometimes you can find homemade gnocchi with potatoes from the Cuneo area. As a second course, depending on the season, you will find braised or rabbit or boiled meat with related sauces. Upon reservation, Piedmontese mixed fried food and bagna cauda. Excellent desserts (bunet, tart, panna cotta). Decent wine list on which Barbera d'Asti, Ruche di castagnole and Dolcetto di Dogliani stand out. Suggested for convivial dinners. Elegant atmosphere, kindness of the owners and excellent food. Local specialties cooked with excellent raw materials and with an excellent quality/price ratio. Parking within 100 m. Reservation recommended. We will be back!

Praticamente l'unico ristorante nel comune di Viarigi. Cucina tradizionale piemontese, nella media per il prezzo pagato (75 per due antipasti, due secondi e due calici)

Cena con il tavolo per l’occasione di “Salti in Piazza 2024” in strada davanti al ristorante (piacevole ). Crespelle di verdure e carpione buoni accompagnati da un buon vino rosé.

15/01/2025: Beautiful venue, excellent local cuisine. The chef even wrote a book. I recommend both for the 15 euro lunch menu (of very high quality) and for dinner as a couple or with friends.

Ristorante Il Bagatto

01/01/2025: Very positive experience at bagna cauda “d'aj”. Attentive staff and very good quality of raw materials. Welcoming environment.
27/12/2024: What can I say, Il Bagatto is certainly "local". Those looking for Piedmontese tradition will land in this Osteria in the beautiful center of the village of Grazzano. There is no shortage of courtesy and speed in the service, as well as having a nice wine list that makes those who love the area smile. The only "difficulties" in my opinion are the service of the Bollito - a little limited and served on a plate without the possibility of taking the different meats from the pot - and the cost - in line with the current tourist demand which influences the territory but certainly not at Osteria... you certainly pay for the quality raw materials, but on balance the margin seems a bit excessive to me. However I would recommend it!!
