Wonderful hosts. Excellent food – unpretentious and exquisitely cooked. All ingredients were locally sourced. The carpaccio was divine. Very pleasant ambiance. Wonderful wine selection.

Family-run restaurant, classic Piedmontese appetizers available individually or as a complete tasting. Excellent raw veal, peppers with bagna cauda and strictly freshly cut cold cuts. Unmissable free-range ravioli with roast sauce, sometimes you can find homemade gnocchi with Cuneo potatoes. As a second course you can find braised meat or rabbit or boiled meat with related sauces, depending on the season. Upon reservation, Piedmontese mixed fried food and bagna cauda. Excellent desserts (bunet, tart, panna cotta). Decent wine list on which Barbera d'Asti, Ruche di castagnole and Dolcetto di Dogliani stand out. Recommended for convivial dinners. Ristorante Agriturismo Ma Che Bel Castello

15/06/2025: Due to unforeseen circumstances, we had to cancel our trip to Italy, so unfortunately we were NOT able to visit the little castle. I’m really very disappointed about that, as I was so looking forward to meeting Paola. She was so kind and understanding when I had to cancel our stay. We still hope to make it there one day, and I will definitely recommend a stay with them to our friends.
11/06/2025: We stayed here for 12 days. Paula is a perfect host and she does anything for her guests to make them comfortable and happy. The castle is beautiful and her diners are exceptionally good. We loved to be here. :)
