We had a wonderful evening with fantastic, imaginative cuisine at the Ritterhof! House-cured salmon with a fantastic, cool horseradish mousse, an incredibly aromatic gazpacho with Asian-marinated cucumbers, gnocchi with pesto & burrata, and tagliolini with sour butter and zucchini blossoms – all lovingly arranged and with a great wine pairing – made our evening perfect! The whole experience was rounded off by impeccable service – we felt incredibly comfortable and would gladly return!

Breathtaking views from the terrace of the vineyards, the surrounding mountains, and even Lake Kaltern. The food was excellent, and the 4-course surprise menu is also highly recommended. Unfortunately, the service was very poor, and contact with guests was largely avoided. One felt downright unwelcome.

Whenever we take a trip to Kaltern, we always enjoy eating at the Ritterhof Restaurant. There's always something unusual and creative to choose from. All the dishes are delicious, and the view is breathtaking. Simply the Dolce Vita. We're so happy to have found this restaurant and we'll be back again and again. The entire team is super friendly and accommodating. Thank you for this wonderful experience.

The food was very good, but we didn't feel comfortable in the restaurant. Although the large terrace with its magnificent view was still empty, we were shown to a table on the adjacent terrace, which remained empty throughout the evening except for one other couple. We found the atmosphere and the service staff cold and not at all typical of the region.

23/08/2025: The pizza is always very good, but tonight we were even more kind.
23/08/2025: Unfortunately, the spaghetti with shrimp was very disappointing. A very small portion with 6 shrimp for €17, and it tasted more like a cream and cheese sauce. The pizza was delicious. I definitely recommend the pizza, but I wouldn't order pasta here again.

24/07/2025: Spacious venue, excellent and courteous service, tasty and elaborate dishes. The dessert is recommended.
28/06/2025: We came to dinner here for the first time. The key point of the restaurant is the attention to detail: soft lighting, mise en place, plating and above all the friendliness and skill of the staff. The dishes are stratospheric, fish cooked to perfection and very tasty. The choice of wines is also vast I will return soon! Thank you so much for this beautiful experience❣️
