An absolute highlight from start to finish during our week in Kaltern. That means: excellent, attentive, and friendly service without being overly pretentious or overly fussy, and various seating options were offered depending on your preference. The prices are a bit high, but definitely worth it -> extremely delicious and perfectly prepared. A great wine selection. All in all, a fantastic evening, and we will definitely be back on our next visit to Kaltern!

A very pleasant evening at the Ritterhof Restaurant. We had the four-course tasting menu for €62 per person: vitello, tortellini amatriciana, fillet, and chocolate mousse dessert. This was accompanied by two aperitifs: a bottle of Lagrein, two dessert wines, three beers, one Averna, and two coffees. Top quality, friendly service... absolutely excellent value for money. Thanks to the entire team.

We've rarely had such high-quality meat as at Ritterhof. We had ox cheeks and veal fillet, super tender, and the jus for each was outstanding. At the next table, we watched the tartare being prepared; it's prepared in a bowl with a vinaigrette and served with risotto. It looked so good that we'll probably stop by again on our return trip just to try it. The view of the lake from the terrace is phenomenal, but the restaurant is also very beautiful inside. Unfortunately, the service lags somewhat behind the quality of the food and the ambiance. We received good service, and special requests were also accommodated. However, for a perfect evening, we would have appreciated a little explanation about the wine and the dishes, and more conversation with the guests would have taken away a certain stiffness. All in all, though, the food and drinks are absolutely recommended.

We weren't at Ritterhof for dinner, but for a winery tour led by the owner. A fantastic tour where I once again learned a lot and was able to sense how much passion, enthusiasm, and love can go into wine! Thanks again for the impressive tour!

We had a wonderful evening with fantastic, imaginative cuisine at the Ritterhof! House-cured salmon with a fantastic, cool horseradish mousse, an incredibly aromatic gazpacho with Asian-marinated cucumbers, gnocchi with pesto & burrata, and tagliolini with sour butter and zucchini blossoms – all lovingly arranged and with a great wine pairing – made our evening perfect! The whole experience was rounded off by impeccable service – we felt incredibly comfortable and would gladly return!

The atmosphere is very refined, the menu is short but interesting, and the dishes are beautiful and delicious. The service is impeccable. The bill is reasonable.
