A truly beautiful and traditional place
You have to stop by at least once (and then you'll be back).
Spring-water lake full of trout and various palm-footed birds (swans, mallards, geese, etc.)
Professional and fast staff

It was, as always, a very good meal. We had four courses. The cold starter was three different kinds of fish, the hot starters were risotto and pasta, and the main course was a grilled fish fillet with vegetables and mixed salad. It was accompanied by Prosecco and white wine, and finished with an espresso. Thank you, it was excellent.

A restaurant in an enchanting location, serving simple yet delicious dishes, with fast and truly friendly service, and a low price, deserves at least six or seven stars, but five is the maximum possible... so I'll give it "only" five stars.
I don't need to say much more; just look at the photos I've attached, with a fantastic lake, the freshest trout flowing directly into the kitchen, the dishes that make you want to eat them, and the minimal prices listed on the menu (September 2025), and you'll immediately understand that it's worth a visit, to make you want to return.

Four of us came here for a fish dinner. For starters, we had a covered soup with pieces of fish, originally ordered as a minestrone – an interesting surprise, but tasty.
For the main course, we chose trout. The fish was rather small, and the potato side dishes served with it were unfortunately cold and didn't seem fresh. Even after reheating, they weren't convincing.
The desserts, however, were very good and everyone enjoyed them.
Conclusion:
The restaurant has a lovely ambiance and a friendly atmosphere. However, the food alone wouldn't necessarily be worth the trip from Central Carinthia.

Top-notch service! Super friendly staff, and we got a seat right away even though it was incredibly busy!
The food was delicious - portions could have been a bit larger.

Great food, unique atmosphere, love it here, I stumbled across this paradise by chance 4 years ago and come back here every time I'm in Italy, Alexandria and his team are simply fantastic.

A very nice fish farm. A beautiful pond with crystal-clear water and plenty of fish. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. We highly recommend this restaurant.
