It was apparently a full house. The owner himself makes the places and supervises everything.
A real trout place, in all forms. Smoked, fish soup, grilled. There is everything else, steak, chicken, etc. Tiramisu is a must, it was divine!!

A family atmosphere, under the strict control of owner Sandro, who never fails to offer a word or a smile to anyone. The hospitality is as commendable as the quality of the dishes. Speed and service are superb.
And why not... a magnificent outdoor setting, with a trout pond and swans.

After a day of skiing in Tarvisio on a Monday in February, this was the third restaurant I called; the other two closed at 3:00 PM.
The lady who answered was very kind on the phone, and even kinder in person, and we had a great time there.
The trout is locally sourced and truly worth trying. We had a carpaccio and then another grilled one, along with a bottle of Friulian white wine. For dessert, I recommend the meringue pie. Everything was delicious and at a great price.
I will definitely return whenever I'm in Tarvisio.
