We had lunch here on a Sunday and despite the many people in the place we ate well, the girls in the room were very kind, the only flaw was the coffee took forever to arrive

The refuge is beautiful, along the main road and at the base of the ski lifts, as well as at the start of a cross-country ski centre. It's a shame that we had to go somewhere else to eat because the waiting time for a sandwich (the only thing to eat) was about an hour.

Very friendly, very nice people. They have kindly allowed us to park our car overnight just outside of their Rifugio even though we were not their guests. We wanted to ascend the Monte Civetta to Rifugio Tissi to spend the night there. Although we were not Palavafera's guests, they have kindly allowed us to park our car at no charges at all - completely for free, and completely safe! They are an absolute gem, and I hope this review will spread this kind deed. p.s. they have a pretty fireplace while enjoying food/ drinks

01/10/2024: Very cute little cafe with absolutely incredible views of the mountains. Perfect for a coffee and croissant on a sunny day. Limited food options (just icecreams, croissants and occasionally cake). It became our regular spot during our stay in cortina!

07/09/2024: Il locale è molto carino,alla moda diciamo con anche parecchi tavoli all'esterno sulla strada. Il servizio veloce ed abbastanza attento .peccato per l'aria condizionata che non mi ha fatto mangiare bene..abbiamo chiesto di spegnere ed è stato fatto prontamente ma ci è parso di capire che avessero proprio un problema di aereazione . Dall'altra sala avevano chiesto di accendere e così spegnendo hanno poi lasciato loro più al caldo mi immagino. La pizza non mi ha fatto impazzire i prezzi sopra la media ma non sono stata contenta.
21/08/2024: Hôtel moderne. Personnel souriant et efficace. Chambres spacieuse et fonctionnelle. Vue superbe sur les Dolomites depuis les chambres à l'arrière et la terrasse (fermée) du restaurant. Et proche de la nature : le premier soir, un couple de chevreuils était dans un champ à moins de 20 m de l'hôtel. Très bonne table avec du choix et de la qualité à tous les repas. Et à des prix très modérés (cela compte aussi..) Pour les repas tranquilles, il faut avoir la chance de ne pas tomber à côté d'une tablée de 25 italiens/nes... Le niveau sonore dépasse vite les normes des oreilles françaises !! Mais l'hotel n'y est pour rien. L'affluence au restaurant (hors client de l'hôtel) montre la qualité de l'endroit. Une adresse à retenir
