Very welcoming environment, like an old high mountain hut, you are greeted by a large wood stove that heats the room at the entrance, where you will find the counter in front with a bit of everything, and on the right some tables with benches. In the second room there are tables with chairs. We stopped after the slopes and before leaving again, to warm up for a moment with hot drinks (good herbal teas and chocolate). Kind and welcoming staff, you are welcomed by the warmth of the environment and the people. I'm curious to try lunch. Must try.

Sunday lunch. Rustic atmosphere, excellent food quality and generous portions. Shank and polenta with delicious mushrooms. Fast service, friendly, helpful and friendly staff. We will definitely be back.

Family and welcoming environment I recommend a stop and if you want a hot meal don't miss the truly special polenta with venison. If you then have to warm up the bombardino with the cream, it shouldn't be missing!! 😋😋😋

First of all, access to this place paved with ice, so without a trace of salt or danger warnings, so as I approached I saw another tourist slip and hurt his hand, unspeakable, then we ask for slices of blueberry tart, portions served on a coffee saucer, this is how we did the diet, obviously of poor taste, better to eat a sandwich in a bar on the street, and the cost was obviously in line with the rest. Avoid people, avoid!

The Rifugio Cavone Restaurant is perfect for a stop after a walk at Corno alle Scale, even just to refresh yourself with a can of Coca-Cola. The atmosphere is simple and welcoming, ideal for relaxing and catching your breath before leaving again. The view and the context make it an appreciable refreshment point, even for those who want to take a quick break.

03/12/2024: Historic place in Bologna where the hospitality and quality of the products has increased over time. Also noteworthy are the gins of its own production as well as all the proposals on the menu.

02/11/2024: It's not the classic place in the Bolognese Apennines, the quality is definitely above average and therefore costs a little more than the others in the area that I've tried, but it's really worth it. The only comment I would like to make is on the portions: let's understand each other, it cannot be said that they were small, but I wouldn't have satisfied myself with just a first course and a dessert... taking the second course also satisfied me greatly. 02/11/2024 I fully confirm my review. Today I then found slightly larger portions... so my opinion has even improved! Well done! PS: Pianaccio's dark tagliatelle are amazing!
29/09/2024: In zona per una gita di fine settimana. Ci consigliano questa locanda che si trova nel paese natale di Enzo Biagi. Non amo la cucina romagnola ma qui, ragazzi, mi sono dovuto ricredere. La location in mezzo ai monti; la locanda, anni 70 … e basta. Arriviamo con i nostri due cani (un centinaio di chili in tutto) e ci accolgono e sistemano alla grande. Pare sia tutto in mano alla proverbiale nonna. E questa nonna ci sa fare alla grande. Menu semplicemente perfetto: tortellini fatti in casa alla panna, tagliatelle fatte in casa ai porcini e pancetta. Perfetti! Ordiniamo il piatto che loro chiamano semplicemente “crescentine”. Arriva una montagna di tutto! Ancora una volta materie prime semplici e apparentemente comuni che si rivelano “un’altra cosa”. Salumi (prosciutto, salame, pancetta e cose a me ignote ma di un altro pianeta!) conserve di castagne, mirtilli e fichi; sottoli, sottaceti … non siamo riusciti a finire questo ben di Dio. Prodotti semplici serviti con semplicità: la qualità però si sente! Non parliamo del fritto: queste crescentine sembravano fatte al forno: difficile trovare un fritto così perfetto. Anche il piatto dei formaggi era notevole: varietà e qualità. Siamo rimasti sbalorditi. I vini: il posto è semplice ma c’è tutto il necessario e soprattutto c’è tutto quello che ti aspetti. Complimenti davvero, torneremo di sicuro perché meritate! I prezzi? sono sul menù e se avessi speso di più non mi sarei certo lamentato. Grazie per avermi fatto assaggiare una cucina di altri tempi, semplice e che colpisce! Torneremo presto! Bravi Complim
