My girlfriend and I, after a trek where we encountered bad weather... went to lunch (1:00 pm) at the Cavone Refuge. The staff was very welcoming, they made us sit near the stove so we could dry ourselves and we ate very well, cheek and polenta with roe deer, exquisite dishes!!!!

Excellent atmosphere and cuisine, very welcoming staff made up of truly good and honest people, I recommend the refuge to everyone, both for stopping to eat and for a break at the bar.

Very good food (we had a lasagna, polenta with mushrooms and taleggio cheese, potatoes and dessert). Very friendly and helpful staff. A pleasant discovery, we will be back!

Truly exceptional experience! The Cavone Refuge is immersed in breathtaking natural scenery, perfect for those who love the mountains and tranquility. The welcome was warm and genuine, we immediately felt at home. The cuisine is one of the strong points: typical dishes from Emilia Romagna, abundant and cooked with fresh, quality ingredients. The staff is always helpful and kind, ready to recommend excursions in the surrounding area. Relaxing atmosphere, clean and tidy facility, perfect location for excursions and walks. We can't wait to return!

Very welcoming environment, like an old high mountain hut, you are greeted by a large wood stove that heats the room at the entrance, where you will find the counter in front with a bit of everything, and on the right some tables with benches. In the second room there are tables with chairs. We stopped after the slopes and before leaving again, to warm up for a moment with hot drinks (good herbal teas and chocolate). Kind and welcoming staff, you are welcomed by the warmth of the environment and the people. I'm curious to try lunch. Must try.
