Restaurant review. Welcoming and pleasant environment with internal tables and external benches, friendly staff and fast service. I stopped for lunch after visiting the nearby waterfall and it was a pleasant discovery. Good food options, good quality/price ratio. Convenient parking reserved for customers.

Dinner with gnocchi with porcini mushrooms and beef goulash, sauguad

I went to the refuge bar and the welcome was decidedly good. Very good prices and products. I stopped by by chance because I wanted dessert and I was very happy. The cake I got was super filling and good, I was actually looking for a tart but since it wasn't there I resorted to something else. Excellent discovery.

Once the excursion in Pasubio is over, a good beer at Rif. Balasso is almost a must. Welcoming refuge, it flanks the road that leads to Pian delle Fugazze. The breakfasts are also worthy. ☕️ and brioche 👌.

I only know it as a refreshment point because, living in the area, I have never slept there, but it is a place that I love! You can eat very well, with all your senses. You can smell homemade food, the air of home, exquisite, kind and helpful people. The cold cuts are special (sopressa is famous in these areas), the trio of first courses is delicious... they often change the menu because they follow the seasons, tonight fioretta gnocchi, pasta with cherry tomatoes and burrata and a pie/crespel with leek and Asiago . Always homemade desserts and once I ate a sandwich in which the bread was fragrant and tasty. Unfortunately/fortunately it is always full because it is passing through for those going to the mountains. If you know you're staying, it's best to book

Ospite da mio Padre in Vallarsa, ho girato i pochi ristoranti aperti e devo confermare che nessuno é stato migliore del Rifugio Balasso, che si trova in un'altra Valle, la Valle Pasubio, in Veneto. Ristorante economico ma con una qualità eccezionale, oltre allo splendido panormana che si ammira seduti all'esterno. Consigliatissimo
