Good restaurant in the historic center of Ferrara

We're two young people who happened upon this restaurant during a very brief stop in Ferrara on our way back to Rome, and we were thrilled.
The place looks very nice: the rooms are furnished simply and coherently, leaving the building's history intact.
The service was excellent: the woman who, I believe, is the owner was always available and extremely focused on her work. The wait times are just right: everyone should be satisfied, and for good things you have to wait a little longer.
We wanted to try the typical flavors of your tradition before returning home, and we had a great experience.
If we had the chance, we would gladly return.
PS: I tried snails for the first time at your restaurant and fell in love! ❤️

A restaurant in the center of Ferrara with convenient nearby parking on blue lines. You enter through a cloister next to the bust of Torquato Tasso. The atmosphere is charming, and the restaurant is informal and simple. It has a good selection of wines and off-menu items. The à la carte menu features many classics and traditional Ferrarese cuisine with authentic flavors. We'll definitely be returning to try other gourmet dishes.

A very beautiful and unique restaurant located in a lovely courtyard. We had a bit of trouble finding it, but once we did, we were greeted warmly, and once we were seated, the appetizers and first courses arrived promptly. Everything was delicious, and the prices were reasonable, despite some dishes featuring black truffle. The only downside was that the second courses and desserts were very slow to arrive, perhaps to make time for the castle view. Anyway, if we ever have the opportunity to return to Ferrara, we'll definitely eat at the Raccano restaurant again.

The place is a bit difficult to find, inside a dimly lit courtyard. I only ate one dish, the portion was just right, tasty and well cooked. I recommend it.

The restaurant is located in the beautiful cloister of Sant'Anna, in the center of Ferrara, although it's rarely visited. Beautiful interiors following a meticulous renovation. Outdoor seating is also available. Closed on Thursdays. I've been back several times, and the food has always been excellent. The service could be improved; it's slow. The quality-price ratio is good. Starting in September 2023, thin and crispy pizza will also be available. 💞
