Highly recommend. So nice to have everything gf so, as a coeliac, I could confidently eat knowing it was a gf kitchen. Staff were lovely too.

It's an incredible place in Florence. We spent a week in Florence and ate here two days. The food is delicious. We ordered lasagna one day and had it again the next, and the chicken curry was also delicious. The side dish was spinach and mixed salad, with generous portions. For dessert, vegan panna cotta with red fruit jam was also delicious. The first day, there was a race through the center of Florence and the restaurant was packed, yet the service was quite efficient, and I would highlight their friendliness with customers. The next day, a Monday with almost no people, it was great to be able to sit on the patio and enjoy the calm and relaxed atmosphere. A 100% recommended place. The entire menu is gluten-free, but if you don't know it's gluten-free, you won't notice the difference in flavor.

Sunday, September 21, 2025 Patrick and I are having lunch at the Quinoa restaurant, which we spotted yesterday on the Vicolo di Santa Maria Maggiore. Arianna, our hostess, whose first name evokes the mythical Cretan princess who guided Theseus out of the Minotaur's labyrinth with her life-saving thread, welcomes us warmly with a spontaneous cordiality that transforms strangers into old friends, lavishing thoughtful attentions with a smile that brightens every exchange. Her radiant smile and graceful Italian gestures perfectly embody the spirit of this establishment, where hospitality becomes an art of living. The restaurant's patio, nestled in a former cloister, unfolds its magic in a chiostro cinquecentesco [16th-century cloister] with majestic arcades, where the vermillion-red chairs on the terrace contrast with the plants that create a lush setting. A true haven of peace, the bright patio, adorned with plant frescoes, bathed in an enchanted atmosphere, invites relaxation and conviviality. An old wooden piano, worthy of a fairy tale, sits silently, a fervent guardian of forgotten melodies. The Renaissance architecture offers an exceptional setting where time stands still, far from the bustling tourist scene of Florence. In a culinary symphony of plants, the Polpette [meatballs] vegetali al sugo di pomodoro su polenta morbida, delicately spiced, topped with a creamy sugo with Mediterranean accents, rest on a bed of polenta with a velvety softness that melts on the tongue. They reveal all the finesse of a cuisine that combines Tuscan tradition and oriental influences. The perfectly browned hash browns complete this tasteful score, bringing a rustic and comforting note that signifies the authenticity of the Italian terroir. This sensory experience, enhanced by the attentive and friendly presence of Arianna, an incomparable hostess, would have made many a Medici in their city envious... André

Excellent vegan, vegetarian and pescetarian place. My vegan partner has the green soy curry and I had the crispy cod. Both were well prepared. Service was quick and efficient. Highly recommended for vegans looking for a landing spot in Firenze. Beautiful courtyard, too, btw.
