If I'd seen the reviews for this place before trying it I probably wouldn't have, so I'm glad I didn't. Best plain croissant I've ever had and very good espresso, and not crowded despite the location. The croissant was perfectly light, airy and chewy, much better than ones I've gotten from cafes with much higher ratings.

Great place to rest for a spell. Prices are reasonable and the same regardless of whether you opt for counter or table. Waitstaff attentive and helpful.

05/09/2025: The food was truly delicious and the service excellent! Highly recommended... my mom can't eat anything with lactose or gluten, and one of the waiters, who remembered it perfectly when we returned the second time, recommended a very, very good and healthy dish. Keep up the good work 🥰
02/06/2025: For several years now, whenever I am in the area, I have been happy to stop and eat at Colonnine. Both the first courses, the meat or the pizza are fantastic. I love eating outside under the portico, but the internal rooms are also special. Fantastic staff who always know how to suggest the right wine. More than fair prices, fantastic service.

Caffè Accademia

02/11/2025: Before entering La Accademia We had breakfast here; nothing surprising, good coffee, average croissant. They don't have Wi-Fi.
18/10/2025: It was fine, except you can't sit down with ice cream. They were nice and were next to a museum, but unfortunately there was a protest.
