I went to this restaurant because I was invited, otherwise I wouldn't have gone because they mostly serve meat, and I'm a vegetarian.
I must say, however, that I managed to find a couple of very good dishes, so my opinion is definitely positive.
We ate outside, on a sort of veranda, but it was a bit warm, and some fans, perhaps on the ceiling, would have been useful.
Also, since it was quite busy, it was a bit too noisy.
I can't say how much we paid, because they offered it.

A great place for a summer dinner (in winter dining inside loses a bit of "charm"); good choice of dishes all excellent and mostly from the Pisan/Tuscan tradition; owners always present assisted by two very kind and professional waiters.

A _truly_ historic place inside the San Rossore Park, with a rare charm and great care for the dishes, the service, the environment: the summer veranda is magnificent. Frequented for forty years, if anything has changed, it is for the better. Very good.

Beautiful restaurant inside the San Rossore park.
Exceptional food and kind, helpful and knowledgeable staff.
I am 58 years old and I have never tasted pappardelle with wild boar like those made by Poldino.
More than fair prices for the quality and location.

Beautiful location in the middle of a nature reserve. The multi-course meal was excellent, the wild boar Bolognese was delicious. The wait staff was very friendly and took excellent care of us (a large group).
Later, we saw fireflies, a wild boar sow with three piglets, and two foxes outside.
An all-around fantastic experience.

Se andate di sera all'uscita potete vedere spesso volpi o cinghiali intorno al ristorante. E quando siete dentro mangiate benissimo. Era un po' di tempo che non ci andavo, e devo dire che ha fatto un salto di qualità in su notevole. A proposito di cinghiale (non ditelo a quelli fuori): delle pappardelle impeccabili, ma anche la bistecca perfetta. Antipasti interessanti, tortino carciofi ottimo, da provare la "francesina" (buonissimo "lesso rifatto") dessert di ottimo livello; personale gentile e molto gradevole, servizio veloce.

Sono stato ultimamente da Poldino ed ho poco da recriminare. Il servizio è ottimo e veloce. Le portate sono buone oltre che abbondanti. Il conto è onesto.
