A wonderful restaurant, in the heart of the San Rossore park. Quick service, very friendly staff. Dishes cooked impeccably, with excellent quality raw materials and generous portions. We had the opportunity to choose a fixed menu at 35 euros (being a group of 10 people) with starter, first course, second course, dessert and drinks (wine and coffee included), but even the à la carte prices are below average. Excellent quality/price ratio.

Wonderful birthday dinner here. We had the fried eggs with pancetta and tomato sauce (like an incredibly superior English breakfast if someone had gone to the bother of soft boiling an egg, coating it in panko crumbs and deep frying it), as well as an excellent artichoke sformatino with a cheese sauce. We followed up with spaghetti renaiola, a Pisan classic. Fantastic pasta, with a vivid green cime di rapa and smoked herring sauce. Puddings also great.

Sono stato ultimamente da Poldino ed ho poco da recriminare. Il servizio è ottimo e veloce. Le portate sono buone oltre che abbondanti. Il conto è onesto.

Immersed in the heart of the park, where in summer if you are lucky like myself, you have the opportunity to taste the delicacies of the expert hands of the chef and see the animals roaming peacefully in their habitat.

The restaurant is inside the San Rossore Park and, if you go there in the evening, it is very easy to see deer, foxes and wild boars.
The environment is that of the old rustic Tuscan restaurants of the past with cuisine of typical traditional Tuscan dishes, sometimes revisited in a modern key, such as the Pisan mucco stew, in white and with a hint of mustard.
The specialties are wild boar, hare and meat in general.
The dishes are super abundant and there is an extensive wine list.
Perhaps the desserts are the weakest point.
The staff is attentive and very courteous.
The cost-quality ratio, also due to the freshness of the ingredients, is absolutely favourable.
The rooms are large and for this reason there is no buzz of crowded places due to the limited space.

Piacevolissima esperienza. Ci siamo stati sabato a pranzo dopo una bellissima camminata nella pineta. Il locale è accogliente e confortevole. Servizio attento e cortese. La signora Annalia e il marito Sandro molto simpatici. Ottima la selezione di pecorini toscani con miele e notevoli le pappardelle al cinghiale. Prezzo onestissimo.
