Discovered by chance while searching for a restaurant on the outskirts of Pisa. A farmhouse completely integrated into the San Rossore estate, where you can feel at home, serving traditional Pisan dishes prepared with skill and meticulous attention to detail. Wild boar is the star of the show, but the menu also offers many other surprises...all to be discovered and paired with the excellent wines of the Ghizzano estate. Highly recommended

I went with colleagues; a friend recommended the place, and I have to admit, it's special. Excellent food, a stunning location, nestled in San Rossore Park, among animals like wild boars, foxes, and deer. It's wonderful to have a place like this just a stone's throw from Pisa. The service was excellent, and the food and wine list were exceptional. We ate a lot and paid a fair price. I absolutely recommend going there.

We returned to Poldino, having discovered it by chance while visiting the San Rossore park a year ago. Coming from Genoa, we fell in love with this Tuscan spot: the atmosphere in the restaurant, the excellent traditional cuisine with an innovative twist, the tasty and carefully prepared dishes, the kindness and excellent advice from the sommelier and staff. For us, the trip was worth it; highly recommended!

12/11/2025: It's basically just two rooms with a few tables, all carefully furnished. Therefore, it's always advisable to book well in advance. For the same reason, lunch and dinner are served in two sittings. The quality of the dishes is exceptional. The service is excellent.
09/11/2025: A small tavern, seating about thirty people in total, with a double dinner sitting, so reservations are required well in advance. The Tuscan cuisine is anything and everything. Truffles are the star, ranging from appetizers to main courses. Special mention goes to the homemade tagliolini with truffles and the sweet and sour hare (for connoisseurs only, certainly not for everyone). The owner is a delightful and friendly person, accustomed to working in the kitchen and with people. The portions are generous, the service is appropriate for an osteria, and the bill is absolutely reasonable, especially since the menu has price ranges. The only flaw, if we want to be honest (even though it's written on the menu, which changes daily), is that the waitress only verbally explains what's available, which can be inconvenient for those who have to make a quick decision. Anyway, if you find a place, go.

10/12/2025: Excellent!! The owner was friendly and kind. We were three friends, and I had fish, including a world-class sauté, and freshly caught grilled tuna (he showed me photos of the fish), which was excellent. My friends had the Chianina tartare (real and certified), which was fantastic. (More seasoning?) The pici with cheese and pepper were excellent, with a creamy sauce. The potato and mushroom pie was excellent. The service was amazing... everyone, and I mean everyone, absolutely wanted to do their best, without ever being intrusive, but very thorough. A nice, warm table, perhaps helped by an excellent liter of red wine, elegant and full-bodied. We'll be back as soon as we can.
