Stopped by chance after a hike in the mountains, the sliced ​​beef and the homemade strudel were very good. Family run and good value for money. We will remember on the next trip to Forni. Send.

We were in Forni di sopra and not having booked (we didn't know that Sunday is practically compulsory) we looked for a place that had a table. We found it at Valmost. Family-style restaurant with a bit of an 80s vibe in its offerings. Good food even if the portions of the first courses were not exactly abundant. The frico was very good. The service was adequate and the staff were courteous and helpful. The appropriate cost. Overall a good lunch and a good experience.

Stopping at Varmost at Raul's is like eating with family or a friend from Forno who wants to pamper you in the midst of this stupendous and unique panorama of the Carnic Dolomites: frico, polenta and sausage, gnocchi with venison ragout or melted butter with smoked ricotta, cjarsons and other typical local dishes. Without forgetting the evening pizza with various mountain flavours. A typical moment of relaxation for those staying in Forni di Sopra or a stopover for travelers passing through...... and bon appetit for those who stop by

We stopped for lunch without too many pretensions, we ate tagliatelle with wild boar, venison with juniper with polenta, frico with polenta and sausage and gnocchi with meat sauce, all delicious, fresh and homemade with very affordable prices. Recommended++

31/08/2024: The venue has been superbly run for many years, and popular with players and sports team managers. It offers a vast menu of excellent quality meat and fish, an assortment of pizzas for all tastes, and recently an internal pastry shop that makes excellent desserts and ice creams. The menu is so vast and varied that here we are on the safe side: every guest will find what they are looking for and will certainly be satisfied. The prices of the meat and fish menu are fair for their quality and portions. The same goes for the pizzas, which are tasty, very varied and good. There are many with innovative and interesting combinations of ingredients. The prices of desserts and ice creams, however, I find too high: we are around €8, when in any Udinese restaurant the average is around €5. It's true that the desserts here at Ancona 2 are homemade, but if I pay €10 for a pizza, paying €8 for a portion of ice cream seems exaggerated to me, even if it's very good (if two scoops cost €8, how much will it cost at kilo?🤔). However, apart from the desserts and ice creams, I highly recommend the Ancona due pizza restaurant, for a good meal, to feel welcome, and for the kindness and friendliness of the staff. I won't take sweets anymore so I will always be satisfied.
