Lunch for 2 on 06.23.24 We stumbled upon it a bit by chance, looking for a restaurant on Google maps. Menu recited verbally (personally I prefer to read a menu, to better decide) We consumed: . 1 slices in sauce with mushrooms and artichokes . 1 plain fettuccine with porcini mushrooms and a splash of truffle sauce . 1 meatball with sauce . 1 rabbit in the pan . 2 side dishes of sautéed chicory . 1 homemade tiramisu . 1 taste of pecorino . 1 water . 1/2 l. of cherry on the house . 2 coffees Right portions, good quality of all dishes, in particular the rabbit was very soft. Price EUR 70, in our opinion good quality/price ratio (we were also offered a bitter, but having to drive we gave up). I absolutely recommend.

If you want a real abbruzzese meal .....this is the spot. Family run, homecooked meals at a good price. There is no menu, they ask u what u want and they make it. We spent 5 nights in Roccacassale and ate here 2 nights. See you next year

Kindness, attention, delicious food. The restaurant is well looked after and the porcini and truffle gnocchi are the Top. Highly recommended

06/06/2024: The best and historic wine shop in L'Aquila. Worth the visit
02/04/2024: Easter day in L'Aquila. And to avoid any unpleasant surprises, we asked a local friend for advice: “Can you tell us a wine shop where we can get a platter and drink a good glass of wine? And no other answer would have been better. Not only did we drink well with a minimal mark-up, but the first tagliatelle for two was so good and varied that we asked for a second one. And it wasn't the same, but a new journey through Europe starting from Abruzzo, passing through Croatia, Spain, Portugal, France, Northern England, both for cured meats and cheeses, an experience absolutely worth having at a very fair price, as shown on the receipt. The wine was a pecorino, Giulia di Cataldi Madonna. Do the math, consider the quality of the proposal and you will understand why it is not to be missed.
