It's worth stopping by and driving up if you're staying by the sea. From the outside it may not be optimistic, but inside it is neat, pleasant, and most importantly, very good food. I recommend.

At the end of August after a day at the calidario, we decided to stop for something to eat before returning to Florence. So we stopped at Sottobosco. Fantastic dinner from starter to dessert, all delicious dishes. The staff very kind and friendly. Very welcoming place. Definitely recommended.

Quiet place, super affordable prices, good pizza. A little modernization of the place wouldn't go amiss and mosquito repellent candles for the outside wouldn't be a bad thing.

27/01/2025: As for the cuisine and the service, excellent. Too bad about the table, they placed us near the entrance door, being a very cold evening and also having an external room it was a constant opening and closing of the door, I had to constantly get up to close the door. The dining room staff also realized the inconvenience, but did nothing to remedy it.
25/01/2025: I cook is proof that a job, if done with passion, is noticed immediately. Excellent cuisine, in the dining room a truly unique, highly trained and helpful maitre
