Tanti vengono per il pesce ed anche noi l’abbiamo provato. Buono e porzioni enormi. Ma ci piace davvero tanto la pizza. Sottile e leggera, è guarnita con ingredienti davvero buoni. Poi sono veloci e simpatici!

A place that should be made more current. We got 2 pizzas I have a calzone, and I didn't find anything exceptional about it.

Vengo da anni a Lido degli Estensi e questo rimane il mio ristorante preferito. Quest’anno ho ordinato la grigliata mista, molto buona e servita con della polenta. Il mio piatto preferito restano sempre gli spaghetti allo scoglio : porzione abbondante di pasta, saporiti e ricchi di buon pesce. Suggerirei di variare un po il menu per trovare qualche abbinamento nuovo. In generale il ristorante é valido, il personale é sempre molto cordiale e il pesce sempre freschissimo. Buona anche la pizza. Prezzi in linea con il mercato del posto.

I have been coming to Lido degli Estensi for years and this remains my favorite restaurant. This year I ordered the mixed grill, very good and served with polenta. My favorite dish is always spaghetti with seafood: a generous portion of pasta, tasty and full of good fish. I would suggest varying the menu a bit to find some new combinations. In general the restaurant is good, the staff is always very friendly and the fish is always very fresh. The pizza is also good. Prices in line with the local market.

18/11/2024: The best trattoria in Ferrara. Here I ate the best pumpkin cappellacci in Ferrara (sweet and savory as they should be). They still make "timballo" (baked pasta filled with cappelletti) which you can't find anywhere now. Salamis sauce with mashed potatoes just as it should be. We are all waiting and "hoping" that it reopens unfortunately without the presence of Arnaldo, a true "Oste" like you can no longer find. The other restaurants with the excuse of "gourmet" offer you the usual traditional dishes with sometimes ridiculously small portions. The authenticity and simplicity of the true cuisine that we were still lucky enough to find here has been lost.
15/10/2024: Unfortunately it is closed I don't know for how long... Condolences to the family....

10/02/2025: Fantastic aperitif! Delicious food, selection of super tasty seasonal cheeses, music and an absolutely pleasant and refined environment, I would only recommend adding a fish/mussels dish without taking anything away from the existing menu, honest prices... I highly recommend it to everyone!
