Con chiunque si sia a cena alla San Giorgio, si finisce sempre per rievocare feste o eventi trascorsi in questa pizzeria, forse oggigiorno la più antica di Foggia. Qui si sono celebrati momenti felici di molte generazioni di clienti che, se continuano a tornare, ci sarà un motivo. Nonostante l'arredamento necessiti di un restyling perché ancorato al secolo passato, nonostante a volte le attese siano più lunghe del previsto, la qualità ed il gusto delle loro pizze al metro non è mai cambiato. Impastate e cotte seguendo la tradizione romana, risultano sottili, croccanti e molto digeribili servite con una selezione di ingredienti genuine e saporite. Il menù offre pure un ventaglio di primi, secondi ed antipasti al banco tra cui non posso fare a meno delle loro verdure grigliate e del prosciutto alla carrettiera. Nota negativa è il reparto delle bevande che dovrebbe a mio avviso offrire più scelta tra birre e vini ma quello che propongono è di buona qualità. I prezzi sono molto onesti per un locale che continuerà a custodire i miei ricordi.

Unfortunately this was the case 30 years ago and it has remained so. No restyling. Very digestible pizza and I liked it a lot but the crust was totally burnt. The pizza tends to be biscuity, in some cases burnt underneath. There were very few tables and we waited well over an hour. I won't be returning.
