This evening, July 12, 2025, we dined at the Riviera restaurant in Caldonazzo. We're regulars, as three of us in our family are celiacs, and we've always enjoyed our stay, as the restaurant offers many gluten-free options.
During this evening's dinner, we were looked after by Patrik, who was unparalleled in his kindness and politeness. It's rare to find staff in restaurants, especially busy ones in the height of season, as friendly and attentive as he was with us.
We'd like to extend our sincerest compliments to Patrik and the Riviera restaurant!

We've been there several times over the years, and the food was excellent, but the last two times in the past few months were very disappointing. First of all, we encountered a waiter who was, to say the least, incompetent and rude, and who I don't think really wanted to be there. The peppery mussels were disgusting, to say the least, and smelled rancid (according to the restaurant, they were aware it was a bad batch, and I have something to say about that, but let's skip over it). The last time we ordered the crudités, we were left feeling unwell. Given a second chance, we won't be returning.

What a great place for dinner! We didn’t have a reservation, so we had to wait about 30 minutes, but it was definitely worth it.
The menu was full of photos and available in several languages, which made ordering easy. We were pleasantly surprised to see a Dutch translation too, nice touch! 😁
The tables were nicely set, and the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. Next time, we’ll share an appetizer, we underestimated the portion sizes, and I couldn’t quite finish my main dish. A shame, because everything was delicious!
We’ll definitely be back!

Relatively expensive – if you share a bottle, you're charged for two glasses (€8.50 for a bottle of water with two glasses!). Then there's a cover charge of €2.50 per person. The pizza was okay.

Good restaurant with delicious dishes. Wide choice of pizzas, fish and meat dishes. There are also nice and tasty snacks for children.
Cozy atmosphere and friendly service. Reservations are recommended.
We will gladly come back.

Personale gentilissimo (ci siamo sentiti veramente coccolati).
Cibo ottimo. Abbiamo preso 2 piatti “Fantasia Adriatico” (polipo cozze e vongole, cappa santa, salsa di gamberetti e frittura) la frittura era il top!
Rapporto qualità-prezzo giusti!
Da ritornarci sicuramente.
