We stopped by chance for lunch and were very pleased. Excellent dumplings in broth, strudel and gnocchi with speck and local cheese. Trained and available staff. Advise

Great food, nice service, great rooms, unfortunately from which to get to the restaurant for breakfast you have to put on a jacket and enter through a different entrance. Access on skis only when there is more than 50 cm in the valley - I was not so lucky.

Ogni volta che vado a Sesto ormai è una tappa fissa oggi poi i porcini impanati a dir poco sublimi qui si va sempre sul sicuro sia come cibo sia come cordialità la titolare mi ha consigliato un gulash al posto dello stinco e questo lo apprezzato moltissimo se volete mangiare bene e spendere il giusto venite qui tutto fresco e poi chissà con un pizzico di fortuna potete incontrare anche il campione del mondo di tennis Sinner a cena .

Dietro consiglio del B&B in cui alloggiavamo, siamo stati a cena in questo ristorante che si trova tra Sesto e Moso. Molto caratteristico sia il menù che il locale. Abbiamo ordinato un raviolo tipico con ricotta ed Erbette conditi con burro ed una pappardella ai finferli. Di secondo abbiamo ordinato la rosticciata, ossia una padellata di carne e patate ben condita e saporita da leccarsi i baffi! Quest’ultima è una porzione molto abbondante che abbiamo diviso, personalmente non credo proprio che sarei riuscita a finirla da sola! Posto consigliato!

15/02/2025: A Good Choice! I recently had dinner at this restaurant and I can say that it was a good experience. The environment is spacious and welcoming, which creates a pleasant atmosphere to enjoy a meal. The service was very satisfactory; although the place was almost full, the staff was quick and attentive, without making us wait too long. As for the food, the goulash and potatoes were really tasty and well prepared. The ribs, although a little dry, didn't ruin the evening. Prices are fair and reflect the value of the service and dishes. Overall, I recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a good meal in a cozy environment!
03/02/2025: All very good, even though we were late for lunch they let us sit (perhaps because it was Sunday and the holiday period). The facilities are also clean and tidy.

Baita Daniel

13/08/2024: Il Seceda, monte ai piedi del gruppo dolomitico delle Odle ( che vediamo in realtà da dietro) spazia dalla val gardena all abitato di Ortisei. La scena che ne viene fuori dall alto è un colpo d occhio di assoluta bellezza...che solo la scelta del numero 1 delle baite poteva conclamare la perfezione. La baita Daniel presenta una struttura e cucina di livello, ottimo l'arrredamento all'interno ..particolare menzione per le palle di ricotta con ripieno di fragole...eccezionali.
11/08/2024: Di ritorno dall'ascesa al monte Seceda, ci siamo fermati in questa baita che si trova in un percorso davvero ricco di punti ristoro. Abbiamo provato il tagliere con i formaggi locali davvero eccezionali e il gulasch di cervo con polenta altrettanto ottimo. Personale molto gentile ed efficiente.
