i could sit outside & people watch all day here. i played it safe with my food options, but sometimes playing it safe pays off! the food was fresh and delicious. there were lots of locals and not a lot of tourists!

Very tasteful Roman cuisine!! You should try artichokes alla romana, pasta Popi Popi, Red wine della casa and polpette bollino. Don't leave the place unless you have eaten tiramisu!!!

We went for pizza and calzone, the calzone was delicious, the Popi Popi pizza however was not. The outer crust was black burnt, the egg wasn't fully cooked. When we spoke to the waiter, he says that's to be expected with a wood burning stove.(Yet the table of 4 beside us each had a pizza, none was burnt, my calzone wasn't burnt either). My girlfriend's Italian is limited so she couldn't take the conversation further but all to say, our experiences wasn't as good compared to others who have posted here.

My favorite pizzeria in Rome. It was recommended to me by a lifelong Italian woman from Rome. The Roman-style crust is fantastic. We loved it so much we went twice. The service was 10/10, very fast and relaxed. The prices are great. 10/10.

Definitely one of the best in the Trastevere neighborhood. Don't hesitate to order some supplies, plus pasta or pizza.

09/10/2025: Small pizzeria located just opposite our hotel, hotel’s breakfast is also served here. We tried many pastries and all of them are good, of course the coffee is splendid too!
30/09/2025: We had an absolutely wonderful experience here! The food was simply perfect—delicious, fresh, and full of flavor. Every dish we tried exceeded our expectations. On top of that, the staff were incredibly kind, attentive, and helpful, making us feel truly welcome from start to finish. It’s rare to find such a perfect combination of excellent food and outstanding service. Highly recommended!

22/03/2026: An excellent spot where Italians and tourists alike mingle, all seeking local specialties. The service is very friendly, and the Roman-style tripe is a pure delight! I highly recommend the zucchini blossom fritters with anchovies and mozzarella—a true delight! The restaurant is spacious and perfectly suited for families.
15/03/2026: Excellent restaurant. I recommend it. The only downside: before the cacio e pepe, they forgot to bring me the artichoke, but as they say in Rome... who cares, who cares! :)
