What a surprise! A family type restaurant lost in the middle of nowhere, but with an hint of Italian glamour. Very nice and spacious outdoor patio, with a countryside atmosphere. The menu includes both pizzas as well as traditional dishes from Tuscany. We had tortelli mugellani (potato filling) with duck ragu and a "cotoletta" (veil fried) with roasted potatos. Home made dessert (tiramisù and a typical "zuppa inglese"). Familiar and kind service, fair price. All in all very good dinner.

A few days ago we went to this little restaurant/pizzeria in Paterno di Vaglia (FI). All really good, super friendly managers and a place with outdoor tables, always kissed by a pleasant fresh air.

"A hidden pearl out of your driving route, but stil only a 15 minuten drive". That is what I was thinking the evening after my dinner at this lovely ristorante. We have had some pasta and pizza with fresh truffels. Both good. The friendly service is overwelming. It looks like they are serving with a lot of joy! It was a very nice experience (with well prepared food). Thank you for serving us with such a joy! Note: the parking is on the other side of the road (only a few steps from the restaurant).

We ate outdoors and in the cool (leaving the 39 degrees of Florence) a good pizza and an excellent platter of cold cuts, cheeses and assorted croutons... Friendly and welcoming staff. It was worth the half hour drive... We'll be back.

It was an amazing 3 days I haven't eaten this well in a long time. Hospitality was a splendid thing, I will definitely return, a long time between beautiful nature Thank you Paterno Pizzeria Restaurant

Fast and friendly service, plentiful and quality dishes. Very good value for money. Surrounded by greenery and it is the ideal place to escape the summer heat of Florence and enjoy a cool evening.

Pleasant outdoor veranda, friendly and polite staff, excellent value for money. Generous portions with traditional recipes. To be recommended. I cannot comment on the rooms as I did not use this service.

17/08/2024: Had dinner outdoors on a warm evening and it was great. Large parking lot in front of the restaurant, cold welcome with a waiter who almost stepped on my foot but didn't notice us. A while to take order and 50 minutes to receive starters but only for one. When the missing dish arrived, another 15/20 minutes had passed. After all ok. The food satisfied us, the prices are excellent and the service leaves something to be desired. We hope to be luckier next time
