I went to this restaurant for a lunch break before continuing to Catanzaro. Very large restaurant, with many tables and seats. Very varied menu of both meat and fish of good quality and maxi portions. Suitable for families or travellers. Recommended by truck drivers, so a guarantee.

We spent a lovely evening in a place that stands out for its value for money. We ordered an appetizer (I felt a slightly strong aftertaste on the mixed fried fish but the others didn't notice it) and we split our time between choosing a pizza that we liked and first courses. I personally chose to split two first courses with another person and they arrived on two plates. I immediately said that I had only ordered one portion. Well, they were split into one portion on two plates for the double choice made. Pleasantly super abundant! The spectacular service; I was talking to myself out loud for a need and the waiter satisfied the need in an instant, taking care of it immediately. There are a lot of people and the environment can be a bit chaotic but for all the positive things we tried, it can be tolerated. Finally we added a sorbet with an excellent final bill of 14 euros.

Pranzato con un collega lunedì 7 aprile. Prese due porzioni di carpaccio di stocco, e due di stroncatura, sempre con stocco. Antipasto dall'aspetto poco invitante e di consistenza acquosa. Primo piatto decisamente migliore, ma dal gusto completamente sovrastato dalle olive verdi, del tutto inutili, a mio parere. Servizio non pervenuto. Non tornerò.

Locale grande e servizio celere. Primi abbondanti e prezzi molto contenuti. La pizza mi ha deluso: sottile, cotta a forno elettrico e con poco condimento. Tutto sommato, ottimo per riempirsi la pancia...

27/06/2025: We went to Mani in pasta after the advice of relatives. Staff prepared and friendly with customers. Vast menu in which you immediately notice the flavors and the Calabrese tradition. Very tasty appetizers and really excellent gourmet pizzas. Very fresh ingredients and mixed at their best. Cala + beer in various flavors. Compliments. Highly recommended
09/06/2025: Beautiful evening, excellent food, delicious appetizers, excellent pizza....very good, those who love meat can't help but go to the hands-on, not to mention the sublime dessert millefeuille with berry cream 😋😋😋😋😋 excellent dinner I would say. the staff very attentive, professional and polite. we will definitely return soon, then Gallina is very nice. thank you.

Ristorante Pizzeria Villeggiante da Ciccino

05/06/2025: I came to this restaurant for the first time! I was simply shocked by how tasty the food was...and I have visited Italy over 20 times but this restaurant impressed me the most!
02/06/2025: Today, just by chance, we went to this restaurant and intrigued by the various reviews, we wanted to sit down. As soon as we entered, in full view of the beautiful vintage motorcycles on which they have made a cash register and bar counter... truly unique and welcoming as a location. The owner welcomed us and very kindly accompanied us to the table and pointed out and recommended various things on the menu. He immediately put us at ease. In the end we took some house appetizers that were truly complete with everything and here was a nice surprise, he offered us exceptional meatballs in sauce in addition to those that had already arrived with the appetizers. Then we continued with first courses that were very rich and full of flavor and it should be noted that it is all homemade stuff. Then to finish, even if we were already stuffed, we took some Picanha (it melted in the mouth) which came with a side of super good potatoes. You can choose from a vast variety of truly fine meats, in full view in the fridge for aging... I would have tried them all! We couldn't get the dessert because we were already bursting. In the end the bill was more than fair and I would definitely like to go back, also to try the pizza. My compliments go to all the staff! Zero waiting times, very fast, friendly and always available even though the place was packed. See you next time!
