Ristorante Pizzeria Maris In Nocera terinese

Voglio andare controcorrente rispetto alla moda di cercare la modernità a tutti i costi, elogiando questo luogo che sembra sospeso in un tempo passato. Entrando nel ristorante-pizzeria Maris tutto, ma proprio tutto, sembra essersi fermato agli anni '80. Come sono apparecchiati i tavoli, il tipo di tovaglia (che non risale certo a quegli anni, ma li ricorda assolutamente), le luci, i bicchieri, le confezioni di grissini!!! Dove le trovate più?! E il menù non è da meno: risotto alla pescatora (che non è niente male), ravioli ripieni di pesce e conditi con un sugo a base di panna (altrove è quasi un reato!) e salmone, un antipasto di mare con il cocktail di gamberi in salsa rosa (un must degli anni '80!), l'insalatina di mare servita nella conchiglia, le frittelle di zucchine...etc etc. Un tuffo nel passato, ma molto piacevole! Atmosfera rilassata, anche il personale ha divise e modi cortesi di un tempo. In sottofondo musica, generalmente italiana, anch'essa vintage. In definitiva, un locale amarcord dove si mangia complessivamente bene, con un'ampia scelta di piatti e di pizze "alla calabrese" (senza seguire la moda degli impasti contemporanei, con tot ore di lievitazione e idratazione alla percentuale tot...che un po' hanno anche stancato). Consigliatissimo per i nostalgici e per chi vuole mangiare rilassandosi in un'atmosfera garbata d'altri tempi.

Following the recommendation of the Calabria travel guide, we read the current reviews. We arrived there on a Saturday evening, somewhat unprepared, luckily very early, as the online information about opening at 7:30 p.m. is incorrect. But that doesn't bother anyone here. We drank two Prosecco glasses until it opened at 8:00 p.m., which we received without hesitation, along with a small appetizer on the house. The restaurant was completely booked that evening. It's a pure fish and seafood restaurant, and most guests knew what they wanted anyway; they didn't even get a menu. The food was excellent, and the value for money was decent. Contrary to what the guidebook described, the interior is now stylish and appealing. The staff was attentive and friendly. It's definitely worth a visit.

Ristorante/Pizzeria MARIS Sulla spiaggia di Nocera Terinese, il Ristorante MARIS è una vera scoperta. Niente ostentazione, solo genuinità e sapori che parlano da soli. Appena arrivano le prime portate di pesce, si resta in silenzio. Perché i sapori sorprendono, emozionano, e fanno chiudere la bocca… per aprire il cuore. Un ringraziamento speciale al giovane che ci ha serviti con gentilezza e attenzione – figlio dei proprietari – a cui va un complimento sincero, così come ai suoi genitori: accoglienza familiare, autentica, sentita. Se siete in zona, fatevi questo regalo. E se, come noi, avrete anche la fortuna di trovarvi in ottima compagnia… sarà semplicemente perfetto.

We stopped at this place on the way back from a walk with a couple of friends. A place we didn't know but which we were satisfied and happy with. We ordered some pizzas, all very good and we concluded with an excellent lemon sorbet. Recommended place and definitely worth returning.

Very nice service and atmosphere. Food Very delicious and nicely presented. On our last visit, we were served by the chef himself. Very nice and gallant. He kept asking if everything was good. And at the end we got a delicious dessert 😍 Grazie mille
