20/07/2026: Agriturismo located about 20 minutes from the Cuntursi Terme exit. The restaurant is welcoming. However, the place feels like you've been to Frittole (the iconic location from the Benigni and Troisi cult film), and that's meant as a compliment, not an insult. The staff is very professional, welcoming, and generous. The set menu includes various appetizers, two first courses, a second course, fruit salad, coffee, and a digestif. I don't question the quality of the authentic ingredients, which are certainly excellent and of true peasant origin, but, in my opinion, the quality of the dishes is generally mediocre. The pasta with sauce was nothing special, while I couldn't eat the other first course because it tasted bland and was also a bit heavy. The fried pizzas were also a bit heavy, and the fruit salad was very sugary. This cuisine was probably fine 50 years ago. As constructive criticism, I'd suggest preparing lighter dishes that seek out more flavorful options than the current ones, while preserving the authenticity of the basic ingredients. Obviously, these suggestions are only valid if there's an interest in attracting customers from outside their area. Anyway, thank you for the welcome.
