I ordered a pizza and three panzerotti, he gave me a receipt for 11.50, then since I paid by card he took an extra euro 12.50 The pizza was too thin and looked like a piadina

I had the opportunity to try this place 3 times and I can say that it is very welcoming, the staff are serious and very kind, the food is excellent, they are very careful with allergies and possible food contamination, fair prices, beautiful location , I recommend it.

Abbiamo festeggiato ieri a pranzo l' ottantesimo compleanno di mia madre.Siamo stati benissimo, ambiente raccolto, rilassato, cucina buona , personale e proprietario cordiali e accoglienti.Pranzo vissuto in pieno relax.Soddisfattissimi.Consigliato per chi vuole una cucina casereccia .

As always a confirmation! For those who want to eat good food I recommend this place where you can eat traditional Taranto dishes cooked with simplicity but very tasty. Excellent starters, excellent raw seafood, really well made first courses, excellent food. Friendly and very helpful staff! It's like family! Absolutely recommended

12/08/2024: Located in the heart of the historic center of Taranto, the "Gatto rosso" restaurant is a true gem for fish lovers. The menu is a triumph of freshness and local flavours. I started with a mixed appetizer of raw and gratinated seafood. Each dish was prepared with the freshest ingredients and presented with care. As a first course, I chose cacio e pepe with red prawn tartare. Furthermore, it was my cousin's birthday and they prepared the cake for us, giving us an exceptional surprise and we ended on a high note. The staff was friendly and professional. Thanks to Agostino who was extremely kind, attentive and a wonderful person! a restaurant that I highly recommend to anyone visiting Taranto. An excellent choice to enjoy the best fresh fish in the region in an enchanting setting. I can't wait to go back!
