We discovered this hidden gem in the fall, before the owners went on their well-deserved vacation. From grandparents to children, everyone was very happy with their delicious food. The hosts are very friendly and welcoming, and there was a lot of laughter. We'd love to come back to enjoy the magnificent view of the lake again, although it was unfortunately already too dark for that.

You could consider it an insider tip. We haven't had such friendly staff and such good food in this area for a long time. Pasta with truffle for me, and branzino for my sweetheart. Plus grilled vegetables and a delicious dessert. Espresso is a must. The house wine is highly recommended. A visit there is definitely a good decision.

We easily reserved a table for 5 people with a child online – everything went perfectly. The restaurant was recommended to us by friends back home – and we can only endorse this recommendation! The location alone is a highlight: from the hill, you have a stunning view of Lake Garda, especially magical at sunset. The ambiance of the restaurant itself is also very beautiful and atmospheric. The staff and the chef are extremely friendly and accommodating – the service is truly top-notch! We ordered starters, main courses, and desserts, each with a different dish, from pasta to fish – and everything was excellent. The price-performance ratio is also excellent. Given our experience, I can't understand the negative reviews at all! Conclusion: A very good restaurant with excellent cuisine, a stunning view, and extremely friendly service. Highly recommended!

You can enjoy dining with a fantastic view at Le Guardie in Costermano. An extensive menu ranging from pizza and pasta to fish and meat, solid food, and friendly service. A beautiful terrace high above the lake.

Recommended restaurant; they serve both meat and fish dishes. We tried the fish dishes and they were really good. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The view was breathtaking.

An amazing setting with lovely lovely owners and staff, their jospitality was very welcoming. The food was great , good service.

Couldn’t ask for more, the manager and staff where absolutely lovely, so kind and patient with our poor attempts at Italian, the food was perfection and the desserts where to die for, all chiefs recipe and prepared on the day. All for a very fair price, 3 courses for around 35 euros per person depending on what you order. The views from the terrace are breathtaking especially at sunset.
