A classic Bologna restaurant, specialized in pizze and primi. Yes, they do have secondi, but then it gets only 4 stars. Particularly the pizza is very good. The restaurant is spacious and service, often by the owner himself, is prompt and courteous.

They also make pizzas by the meter and the ones we saw passing by were very inviting. Even those who had already been there said the fish dishes were excellent. The sweet decomposed ricotta cannoli is super delicious. The prices are also good for 6 with 6 pizzas 1 squash 4 beers water 1 coke 3 desserts and 3 coffees 20 euros each. Super recommended.

Graduation lunch After having tried and appreciated the restaurant's dishes several times, we decided to celebrate my daughter's graduation with a lunch at Le Arcate. We certainly couldn't have made a better choice, The owner was very courteous and extremely helpful when agreeing on the menu and also for subsequent small variations communicated a few hours before lunch. Upon arrival we found an elegantly set table in a beautiful area of ​​the room reserved for us, lunch took place in full compliance with what was agreed with excellent and abundant seafood dishes including Catalan scampi, prawns and exotic fruit , Scialatielli delle Arcate, Mixed fried fish, calamari and paranza with vegetables, etc. and good white wine. The good food and the well-performed service by the dining room staff contributed to making the event absolutely pleasant and appreciated by all the guests. On future occasions we will have no hesitation in returning to Le Arcate just as I have no hesitation in recommending it both for a simple lunch/dinner with family/friends and for celebrating events as in the case described above.
