What can I say... on the day of the epiphany and in the splendid setting of Lago Grande in Monticchio, we were lucky enough to stop for lunch and discover this place nestled in the greenery.
Immediately welcomed by the kindness and hospitality of the waiter named Domenico, we sat down at a table which, lit by a crackling fireplace, immediately made us feel at home. From the appetizers, through the first courses, the second courses and finally the desserts (always home-made), we were able to experience a sensorial journey full of taste, lulled by the authenticity of local products. At the end of our lunch, the creator of all those delicacies, that is Silvana (who, looking at her carefully, was the lady who a few years ago raised the name of Basilicata in Alessandro Borghese's show), came to our table to make sure that we enjoyed all the dishes. Speaking together with these wonderful people, we were able to learn that the boy who skillfully directed us in choosing the right wine was none other than the son of Sign. Silvana, and also the author of the splendid desserts that concluded our lunch. And also that Domenico was her husband. In practice, a nice family-run business that in my opinion works very well. I highly recommend them and I believe that from today they are an obligatory stop for me in the setting of the Monticchio lakes. Compliments.

My family and I decided to have New Year's Eve lunch at this restaurant. We also took the opportunity to celebrate the birthday of my brother-in-law who is vegetarian and, with a little notice, they prepared some vegetarian dishes for him and also a cake to celebrate. The setting is very nice with an outdoor garden with ample parking. The entire staff is made up of very good and helpful people, especially Giovanni who was really kind, between one dish and another he let us taste different types of local cheeses and cured meats. At the end of the lunch he offered us some really excellent house liqueurs and reserved a table for us to take photos with all of us together with the cake. A truly special day. Compliments!

On a winter day, finding yourself at the lakes of Monticchio, pleasantly immersed in nature, going to have lunch with Chef Silvana Colucci at her Lago Grande restaurant is a pleasantly repeatable experience. The attention he places in his cuisine, building, on the basis of Lucanian culture, dishes of undoubted quality with a perfect balance of flavours. The care for those who must have a gluten-free diet is perfect, it offers the same menu, managing to maintain the right conviviality in the name of inclusion when sharing lunch. The particular attention paid to Chef Silvana Colucci's inclusion policy can also be seen upon entering, where there are guided tours for those who are visually impaired, a very important sign that makes clear the attention that the Chef reserves for all his guests. The lunch was sumptuous, from the starters to the dessert, with an exceptional quality-price ratio. The Chef also manages to fulfill the wishes of his customers by also creating Off-Menu dishes.

Sono Candida dalla provincia di Lecce. Sono stata al Ristorante della Signora Silvana con un gruppo di 55 persone dopo aver fatto la gita ai laghi di Monticchio.
La signora Silvana ci ha accolti con gentilezza e un menù stellare.
Abbiamo mangiato un antipasto, 2 primi un secondo e un dessert. Tutto davvero ottimo e abbondante. Anche il servizio al tavolo è stato impeccabile.
Consiglio una tappa in questo ristorante a gestione familiare, noi appena possibile ritorneremo sicuramente.

Mamma mia!! Come mi sono riempito la panza qui non mi era mai successo. Tutto buonissimo e abbondante tanto da chiedere STOP alle portate. Tutto saporito e guatoso, un viaggio con le papille guatative nei sapori tipici lucani, antipasti con salumi, formaggi e chi più ne ha più ne metta. Una bottiglia di Aglianico assorbita in poco tempo, due primi piatti spettacolari (ravioli ripieni di riccotta dolce e menta) e una crepes (chiamata girella) assolutamente deliziosa.
Servizio e location da TOP. Posso solo dire, venite a provare per credere.
