Essere accolti da amici in un ambiente informale ma professionale non ha prezzo. Piatti tipici della tradizione Lucana rielaborati in modo sapiente dallo chef. Porzioni abbondanti ma curate fin nei minimi dettagli. Condimenti naturali ed assenza di addensanti, basta la maestria di chi cucina per creare le giuste combinazioni tra sapore, densità, consistenza e visibilità della portata. Siamo capitati per caso in questo locale dopo aver letto qualche recensione ma sicuramente sarà il nostro punto di riferimento a Monticchio,ci ritorneremo con piacere e con la certezza di essere accolti come in famiglia. In cerca di refrigerio dalla calura estiva (insopportabile in città) abbiamo visitato dei posti incantevoli: oltre la bellezza dei laghi abbiamo avuto modo di visitare il monastero di San Michele; posto incantevole che domina i laghi sottostanti in cui si specchia. When you arrive in this oasis of Peace, being welcomed with kindness and exquisite dishes, like those you find at the Lago Grande Restaurant, is truly an immersive pampering. Traditional dishes made with care, high quality ingredients and love in the preparation make you really feel at home. The meat is excellent, the homemade pasta, the typical appetizer and the desserts prepared by them are highly recommended. At the end of the meal, try their digestive! Last tip: have lunch outside, under the gazebo because the music of nature will cheer your soul.

Silvana Felicetta is a genuine person, who represents Basilicata very well. 0 km products, kindness, care for traditions. I recommend to everyone. I am always amazed. Silvana is unique.

Thanks to Silvana, Mimmo and their staff, we spent a wonderful afternoon at lunch. The food was excellent and plentiful, the service impeccable. We were 50 people on the trip from Campobasso, everyone complimented us without exception. Very good

For today's day trip to the Monticchio lakes, after walking in the beautiful nature of the area, before continuing, my husband and I stopped for lunch at this restaurant, where we tasted excellent and abundant dishes typical of Lucanian cuisine and enjoyed the welcome and service full of kindness and friendliness. Mimmo and Silvana pampered us the whole time, making us feel at home and at ease... If we spent a beautiful day, the credit also goes to them. I recommend everyone to refresh themselves in this place and visit the uncontaminated places that surround it...

We happened upon it by chance, during a midweek trip to the Monticchio lakes, and had lunch in this restaurant surrounded by greenery. We found a simple and comfortable environment, run by Mrs. Silvana, together with her husband Domenico and her children. We were welcomed with such cordiality, so much so that we almost felt at home. We could choose between a complete fixed-price menu or à la carte. We opted for the second option, not wanting to overdo it, in anticipation of the afternoon stroll to the lakes. Well, that was not the case, since the portions were not abundant, but more, without taking anything away from the flavors of the dishes. Another surprise was the bill, truly honest, given the quality of the raw materials and the quantity of the portions. Truly an excellent experience.

Finally a restaurant that tastes like a restaurant. Despite many friendly and helpful awards, but above all none of the staff who show off as they now have to endure even in the worst taverns. The food was excellent, even the special children's menu, orecchiette and not the usual penne. Maybe a little more care for the garden and gazebo.
