Ristorante Pizzeria La Taverna dei Rei In Roma

Authentic italian Taverna, with amazing food, great service and a cosy atmosphere! We dined for two nights here during our stay in Rome, because we enjoyed it so much. The food is amazing, the pasta dishes that we tried were all tasty, I would definitely recommend pasta Amatriciana and the Ravioli. We also had a seasonal salad with artichokes and pasta carbonara with artichokes, which I recommend if you visit this restaurant during springtime. For dessert we tried the tiramisu, pana cotta and a lemon sorbet - all great! The staff was very friendly and attentive, they made sure that I was comfortable (as I am pregnant) and that I could eat the dishes that we tried (being well cooked, and without any allergens or raw eggs).

Amazing place! The staff are incredibly friendly, the pizza is delicious, and the atmosphere is wonderful. Everything was perfect and I will definitely come back. Highly recommended!

There are four of us, and the service couldn't have been better. The waiters are respectful and elegant, the food is excellent, and the bathrooms are adequate. And let's talk about the carbonara, delicious, and the pizza is delicious. Highly recommended, we'll be back soon. Long live Spain 🇪🇸🇪🇸.

After a long and tiring journey, I didn't want to go back to the restaurants I had originally booked. I found this cozy little shop right downstairs from my accommodation and ordered artichokes, tomato soup, grilled shrimp, pizza, and carbonara pasta. 1. The artichokes were a new flavor to try. 2. The tomato soup was a cultural difference; it wasn't the soup Taiwanese people imagined. It was very salty. I felt it would be just right if I added a couple of lumps of pasta. 3. The grilled shrimp is unnecessary; it tasted as expected, and the shrimp wasn't very fresh. 4. The freshly baked pizza had a crispy and chewy crust, and plenty of cheese. The pasta was cooked perfectly and tasted delicious. My travel companion ate carbonara pasta the whole way, so this was the first place I visited!

We spent four days in Rome and had dinner here three of those days. On our last day, we were greeted with a "welcome back!" :)
