I'm eleven years old and I'm from Bova Marina (Province of Reggio Calabria) and I went there on a first year middle school trip with the school on April 29th and 30th 2025 (On April 30th only in the morning because we had to go to the Royal Palace of Caserta by bus and we had just arrived from Pompeii) to sleep and have dinner and breakfast. I really liked my room and I was with two boys. For dinner I only liked French fries, pasta with tomato sauce and bread (I'm not intolerant to anything but I didn't like sausages and steaks). While for breakfast the next day I didn't eat anything because I didn't feel like it but I drank 3 glasses of water and nothing. Then we left for the Royal Palace of Caserta. I give it a nice 4/5.

The owner was rude and disrespectful towards the guests, which is a shame because otherwise the hotel was great. The pool was much appreciated.

Very nice hotel. Beautiful, large and very clean rooms. The staff is always available for any request and are kind in everything. I went on a trip with my classes and we had a great time. And then they were very kind to send me the cell phone that I had forgotten. I highly recommend it!

Clean hotel, there is a farm smell in the area, the layout of the furnishings is not the best. The mediocre food, the too fatty sausage and the raw pasta. Overall not bad

19/05/2025: This hotel went above and beyond for my wedding. We stayed 3 nights and it was amazing. I would highly recommend them for anyone traveling in the area or for an event like a wedding or proposal. Their instagram has all the photos and videos you could need to see the place. You will have to take stairs to reach the place and the hotel will be able to schedule someone to move your bags for you if need it. The view from this place is worth it. They accommodated my gluten free allergy. Great service and I appreciate them so much. Will definitely be back.

05/07/2025: Sober and tidy restaurant, well cooked food, the presentation on the plates could be improved, abundant portarosa appetizer, excellent scialatielli focei... they have a good choice for wine lovers. The polite staff was available for various requests. Prices above average. There is a fairly large and free outdoor parking area. Portarosa is a fixed stop on our weekends in Ascea Marina. recommended.
