A fairly large restaurant with an outdoor veranda with heaters and two indoor dining rooms. High-quality table linens and other items. Very clean bathrooms. It's very close to Piazza Garibaldi, where you can park easily. Beautiful, beyond words. They even let us sit with a large dog without a reservation. The staff was kind and helpful. We ordered a recommended portion for two of beef with toasted bread potatoes and sautéed vegetables. The dish was delicious (6 excellent slices of beef), broccoli rabe-style vegetables, and a slice of bread with oil, toasted and soft, as well as fresh arugula and crispy baked potatoes. The water and bread were all €46. If we pass by, we will DEFINITELY return at least to try the desserts.

I’ve been to Il Vecchio Muro several times and it never disappoints. Service is fast, professional and if they’re not too busy, your meal will be ready in minutes. Love the outdoor sitting in the summertime. I usually come for dinner. Reservations recommended during high season.

Authentic food, carefully prepared (I had the pork shank with broccoli and the other day a calzone). The atmosphere is simple but welcoming. The owner is a kind person. Easy to find, located near the aqueduct in the historic center.

The excellent ingredients are prepared with care and attention, both in the dishes served in the dining room and in the takeout options. The staff is always polite, friendly, and helpful, offering a level of customer service unlike any other. The main dining room is welcoming, warm, spacious, and always clean. The selection of wines and beverages is also highly appreciated: extensive and well-thought-out, with options to suit different needs and pairings. You can also reserve with particularly favorable discounts through TheFork. The newer shop adjacent to the restaurant is also excellent, offering Too Good To Go boxes that deserve special mention: generous, well-presented, and significantly above average. They fully reflect the restaurant's standards and demonstrate a serious and concrete approach to the fight against food waste. Reliable, authentic, I recommend it without hesitation.

11/01/2026: Twice for lunch, everything was excellent and plentiful, highly recommended, obviously being in the mountains, the spaghetti with clams that Google asked me for isn't there, but everything is delicious
25/11/2025: We had lunch at this small restaurant, just steps from the main square. It's small, but very cute and welcoming. The staff is young and friendly. The food is good and high-quality. The only small flaw is that everyone has one bathroom for each person; a 20-minute wait isn't very pleasant. Otherwise, it's definitely worth a try.
