Last night we went to Il Vecchio Mulino for a family dinner with relatives from out of town. I had a great time, I must say.
Appetizers: chips, panelle, croquettes, cured meats, all very good.
Not to mention the very good pizzas, not too thin and just the right amount of crispiness. The service was fast; the main courses, including pizzas and the restaurant, arrived at the same time, even though we were all seated at the same table.
I absolutely recommend eating here and making a reservation a few days in advance.

We stopped by for a group dinner, ate pizza, and then indulged in desserts; the dough was standard, the toppings adequate, and the desserts came in truly generous portions—the highlight of the evening.

Superlative pizza, with sophisticated flavors and a soft dough. I recommend the pizza with yellow and red datterini tomatoes, shrimp, and a hint of citrus.
The pasta with pistachio pesto, pancetta, and cream, and the pizza with mortadella, pistachios, and burrata are also very good.
I can't wait to go back!
