Ristorante Pizzeria il Girasole In Chioggia

30/11/2024: We had two great dinners at Trattoria Do Mori while staying at the Hilton Molino Stucky earlier this month. The waiter and bartender Sadik was courteous and helpful, and the food was delicious. The location right by the water-taxi stop was convenient at a short walk, and was more authentic and less expensive than eating at the hotel restaurant. We enjoyed a variety of pizzas, pastas, wines, and lasagna during our stay. Best of all, the staff never rushed us out and we were able to sit and chat long after our meals were complete. Great place to eat when in Giudecca!

27/11/2024: Evidentemente molti "stereotipari", perlopiù stranieri ma non mancano anche overturisti italici, anche la Giudecca dovrebbe offrire i patetici buttadentro del centro che ti vendono a caro prezzo piatti bellini e dagli schifosetti risultati. Basta salire sul vaporetto lì di fronte e tornare rapidi in zona stazione e non solo. Esaurita la mia doverosa polemica non posso che elogiare il mio spaghetto alla Do Mori, la zuppa di verdura di mia moglie e le verdure alla griglia, annaffiate da un mediocre ma pur bevibile cabernet, servite da un simpatico asiatico, sotto l'occhio attento del gentilissimo signore che compare nella foto del ristorante. Tutto nella semplicità e lo stile di una Venezia che purtropo ritrovo sempre meno. Bene così!
