I'll start by saying that the GPS takes you off track. The restaurant was kind enough to guide us directly to it, and it's already a great start.
Beautiful restaurant in a piazza in Castiglione, clean and well-maintained. The staff is very kind and helpful. We ordered tagliolini with truffles to share. They brought it to us already plated in half ❤️ and the portion was truly generous and very well-made. Then we tried the fillet with pistachio honey and crispy pancetta: a buttery, excellent combination of flavors, superb.
What can I say? Congratulations, we'll be back.

We've been to Gallo Nero several times, trying different dishes, and we've always had a great experience. The first courses are excellent, but the tagliata and pizza are also exceptional. I recommend this place for its friendly and welcoming atmosphere; the experience has always been very pleasant.

A fairly simple restaurant, but with good food. It was late at night and we had just arrived at our rented house. A great pizza and a good house Chianti.
We finished with Vin Santo and Cantucci. Everything was reasonably priced and the service was good.

We went to the restaurant twice this week for dinner. All seven of us were very impressed by the quality of the food, the friendly service, and the delicious house wine. The value for money is also worth mentioning. I wish I could have that here in Germany.

You'd literally take the chef home with you! The food was delicious. We had the tenderloin with fresh truffles and roasted potatoes. And for dessert, tiramisu and panna cotta. Friendly and fast service, nice and cozy little restaurant. And free parking right outside.

Friendly and helpful staff, quick service. Delicious food: a lovely platter of cured meats and cheeses, excellent wild boar pappardelle, delicious rosemary tagliata, and grilled fillet steak. The meat was flavorful, tender, and cooked to perfection.
The dessert was also very good.
