If you are looking for an unforgettable culinary experience, this restaurant is a must. The owner welcomes every guest with warmth and genuine passion, making you feel immediately at home. The dining room staff is attentive, courteous and always available, ready to expertly recommend the dishes of the day or the perfect wine to pair. The menu is a journey through Mediterranean flavors, with very fresh dishes and attention to detail. And then the view... a true marvel! Looking out over Isola Bella at sunset, with a good glass of wine in hand, is an experience that is not easily forgotten. Highly recommended!

The view is spectacular, and the food is delicious, but it's not cheap at all. The meat was delicious, cooked to perfection, although a bit small for the price. The desserts were delicious; I recommend the pistachio semifreddo. The seafood pasta was amazing, as was the fried seafood, cooked to perfection and not greasy.

The restaurant was recommended by a guide, it is considered one of the best in this place, the view from the restaurant is really beautiful, the staff is friendly and quite active) , the food is ordinary Italian, in general everything is good but it can be better)) not much different from other restaurants in Sicily P.S. forgot to tell about the dessert! ordered: strawberry panna cotta, my son gave it 9 out of 10 a little too much with sugar, pistachio prefa-ordinary ice cream with a rich taste of pistachios. Paid 184€

The food was really very good, the fried food was of quality, not greasy, everything was delicious, but the price is high (70€ for two, let's say quite justified by the location). It is a place with a magnificent view of Isola Bella.

On the advice of a friend we went to this restaurant overlooking the sea. Overlooking the suggestive Isola Bella with Taormina behind it. The place has an enchanting view. Varied wine list respecting the territory. We were guided in the choice of dishes off the menu. An unforgettable experience. Everything very fresh. Attentive and courteous service. I would gladly take a return flight from Bologna during the day just to have lunch there. It is a good idea to book to have a table in a privileged position as the place is small.

They prepared a delicious pasta option for my American toddler, and I had the best sea bream of my life. The desserts and wine were delicious. The service was wonderful— they allowed us to move to a better seat when it became available. And the view doesn’t get better!!! 10/10 would recommend.

We were on holiday in Sicily with our family and wanted to have lunch with a picturesque view in Taormina. The panorama at Isola Bella is simply beautiful, as is the service. The waiters treated us to limoncello as a gift. We had a very tasty lunch, we liked the grigliata misto, we also ordered seafood antipaste and salad. I liked everything, but most importantly the gorgeous view from the restaurant.

03/06/2025: English: Beautiful evening in company, lots of good food and lots of laughter. Sherwood is a certainty for anyone and for any need you have. With friends we stopped during the asparagus festival, now an institution for Altedo. We ate very well and we found the guys serving us, witty, funny and very helpful. There were several of us and some wanted it one way, some another, they all accommodated us, even me who doesn't eat meat, fantastic sandwich full of vegetables with cheese and Tabasco, I loved it! Of course if you expect the service of a restaurant with ten seats well, maybe it's better to move on, but moving on the festivals, the street food in general, the good eating standing up or on the bench if you're lucky is for those who don't have too many expectations, for those who love a tired but sincere smile. Those who work in these squares (all of them) have very tight rhythms and not immediately comfortable conditions, and when despite this you find the desire to smile and make jokes continuously for me, for us, you've already won. So for me, applause to all of them who also have homemade products starting from the bread they make. Congratulations guys!
