The place is very nice, and the owners' courtesy is always outstanding. Ten of us arrived on our motorcycles without a reservation, and their organization was impeccable. As always, I had divine couscous, and my friends enjoyed the entire meal without leaving even a crumb. We'll definitely be back in the summer to appreciate the new location even more.

I don't know where Mrs. Amoroso had dinner... our portions of couscous this evening, besides being delicious, were double the amount humanly possible... a very pleasant place, attentive and courteous service, excellent food, what can I say: I'll be back again and again!

An unexpected place, well-kept and sophisticated, yet with a touch of chaos in pure Sicilian style. The owner is kind and direct, and finally a decent house wine! Generous portions; go hungry or you risk having to settle for grilled swordfish (which is very good, by the way!) because you can't fit anything else in your stomach. We've been back twice, but three days of fasting wouldn't be enough to try everything! The presentation of the dishes is also beautiful and thoughtful, and the basket of warm bread is always a welcome treat. Prices are in line with the location.

The atmosphere is very pretentious; I personally preferred the old place. The tuna meatballs were salty, the spaghetti with clams tasteless, and only the traditional couscous brought back memories. Gna' Sara has always been my favorite place in San Vito... but now...

Excellent restaurant with typical local dishes. Reservations are required, especially in high season. Friendly staff and very good food. I can't recommend any particular dishes; I recommend going several times and trying everything.

For us - number one in San Vito Lo Capo. We come here many times for climbing. We've also tried most of the restaurants.
All the food is excellent, the price/performance ratio is fair, and the service is top-notch. Even the ambiance is great.
2. Review from October 2025: Gna Sara has moved; the new name is
Il Giardino di Gna Sara.
Easy to find with the signs and Google Maps, even though it's a bit hidden.
The food is just as excellent as before, the ambiance is beautiful, and the service is first-rate.
It is and remains our number one here. A visit is absolutely worthwhile.

The food is good. The first courses are excellent, with fresh fish and well-cooked to preserve the flavors. The location is truly elegant, and the dinner price is reasonable. Two things to note: the waiter poured the entire bottle of wine we ordered into all our glasses without keeping it on ice, and assumed we wouldn't have anything else after the first courses, so he cleared the table right away.

Generally speaking, you can find good food anywhere in San Vito Lo Capo, and the selection and prices don't vary much. Nevertheless, Gna Sara is our favorite restaurant. A wonderful atmosphere, very friendly and competent servers, and outstanding food. Why some of the negative reviews come about? It's beyond us!

We had a wonderful evening at this restaurant outside the city center. The atmosphere was beautiful, the staff were friendly and knowledgeable, the music was great, and the food was delicious. We met and chatted with the chef, a wonderful person who conveys her passion for what she does.
My partner is celiac, and here she was able to choose from a wide variety of gluten-free dishes, and everything she ordered was delicious.
Knowing that cuisine is subjective and everyone has different tastes, I can only say that if I have the opportunity to return to San Vito lo Capo, I will definitely return to this restaurant.
