I stayed 2 nights in this small hotel, the rooms are very clean and tidy. Excellent breakfast and dinner. The scenery is very beautiful, a little place to unplug from everyday life. About half an hour from Chiesa Val Malenco.

We spent three days at Hotel Gembro with our 4 year old. We had a great time. Friendly and helpful staff. Excellent room cleaning. Superb cuisine and abundant dishes. Magical location for those seeking tranquility and quiet. Congratulations to all the staff.

We spent a pleasant 4 days at the Hotel Gembro over New Year's Eve. Cozy hotel, with everything you need for a holiday in the mountains. Family atmosphere, excellent and plentiful cuisine. Very friendly staff and attentive to guests' needs. The structure is simple, but well-kept, and offers a relaxing and genuine atmosphere. Excellent starting point for excursions in the surrounding area. Ideal for those seeking a peaceful stay, with warmth and authentic hospitality. Positive experience that left us with a nice memory!

Very very nice family-run hotel surrounded by nature at the end of the town of Chiareggio after Pian del Lupo... really excellent cuisine, simple but nice rooms in Alpine style where nothing is missing, the family that runs it is super kind and friendly from Franco the head of the family to Elisabetta his wife and Emanuele (one of the sons) really very courteous and very nice. The location of the hotel offers wonderful walks within easy reach towards the Porro and Tartaglione refuges and Alpe dell'Oro all reachable via wide paths immersed in wonderful pine and larch forests with breathtaking panoramic views over the entire valley, the glaciers of the Ventina and Disgrazia mountains... and the Muretto pass which marks the border with Switzerland and the Engadine..., a fairytale…we stayed in this hotel for a few days to celebrate New Year's Eve .. 2025 ... we will definitely return again ..... we had a great time .. 👍👍😊 Fanny Ferrario

Hotel located at the end of the town in an enchanting position, if you love real mountains, breathtaking views. Comfortable rooms, excellent and plentiful food, friendly and nice staff, excellent parking, fair prices. Highly recommended!

Hotel located at the end of the road to Chiareggio from which the paths start for various refuges in the area (ventina, gerli porro, tartaglione). Strong points are the tranquility, the good food, the very kind staff and the honest prices. If cleared of snow, the road to get from Chiesa is not problematic (but quite winding).

Beautiful place for the panorama and the environment, very clean hotel and welcoming staff, clean and with a special local cuisine of excellent quality
