Perfect for lunch! Excellent quality ingredients, the fried gnocco was soft and not at all greasy, the cured meats excellent. The two first courses were both delicious and the portions generous. The staff was very kind. I recommend expanding the dessert selection with some homemade cakes because I'm sure they have some great family recipes ;)

Found by chance during a stop in Sabbioneta. A double helping of tortelli, fried gnocco with cured meats. I reluctantly passed up the gnocco with gorgonzola (the cheese portion looked like an A4 sheet of paper)... I unfortunately didn't have a single spot left. All accompanied by a phenomenal soundtrack. It couldn't have been otherwise, given the Telecaster autographed by none other than Keith Richards. Definitely worth a try!

Next to the ancient gallery, in the large parade ground of Sabbioneta, is the Ducale bar, restaurant and pizzeria. The selection of raw materials is discreet, the restaurant, in addition to the pizzeria, offers cornerstones of the local and Mantovane specialties with a touristic touch. Rather quick and professional service. Spacious and welcoming environment. Large internal rooms furnished in a traditional way, large summer terrace very pleasant, between the building and the large colonnade below the ancient gallery. Many parking spaces available in the adjacent parade ground.

We went for a tour in this beautiful village, and we came across this restaurant that is really in a great location! We couldn't help but eat gnocco fritto, which we had in several versions. We liked it a lot! Very kind and helpful staff. Definitely recommended!

We passed by bike, the food was excellent, typical of the area. We ate fried dumplings with a plate of cured meats. A spectacle, all washed down with Lambrusco. How sweet is Sbrisolona. The service is excellent, the lady at the tables is very nice

17/06/2025: A great time in this lively little restaurant, staffed entirely by locals (always reassuring). Our pizzas were excellent and inexpensive; I recommend them.
