Ristorante Pizzeria Derby In Songavazzo

Restaurant/pizzeria on the main road, but not busy, Songavazzo is a small village, but splendid, I spent my childhood and summer adolescence there.... Good memories.... However... Quiet and simple place, home cooking the way I like it, hand-made casoncelli... Tourist and festive menu (it was May 1st) possibility of children's menu... excellent value for money... Young, friendly and kind staff... nice and clean place... parking in the area free(5 minute walk).. Highly recommended, we will be back 👍

It is the best restaurant in the Seriana Valley, I know the owners Miriam (the chef) and her husband Claudio very well who, since they took over the place, have transformed the "Derby" into something special. The foods are of high quality and vary from day to day, delighting the taste buds of even the most demanding diners. Then they are artists who, with their performance, on themed evenings, entertain customers with music, giving added value to the location. Miriam is also a great vocalist who knows how to create something beautiful to bring together holidaymakers and locals in her "Derby". I highly recommend giving it a try! 😊 💪 We returned for lunch on Saturday 12th April, same welcome, the extraordinary thing is that, despite the turnout, typical of a very "convenient" place is the memory that the managers have of the customers. Giulia, remembering my intolerance to garlic, showed us the dishes in which it was present, and she brought the coffee to the table, hot and smooth, without having said it. In terms of desserts, all included in the price of the menu (total 12 euros), I recommend the jam tart, even if all of them are made by them and are excellent.

Good young but busy guys, quick and courteous in service. Good food but could be improved: seafood pasta for example. it didn't have the "rock", no prawns, no mussels...but I would happily go back.

We stopped for dinner on January 3rd. Both the pizzas and the children's menu were very good and you could tell that they were made with care and with quality ingredients. Friendly staff.

Ottima esperienza. Abbiamo provato il menù pranzo da € 12,00, comprensivo di acqua e vino, primo (a scelta tra tre opzioni), secondo (a scelta tra tre opzioni), dolce (a scelta tra tre opzioni) e caffè. Tutti i piatti ordinati si sono rivelati buoni e le porzioni sono giuste. Un'ottima soluzione se volete provare cibo tipico con un buon rapporto qualità prezzo. Consigliato anche a grandi gruppi. Consiglio di prenotare. Noi torneremo sicuramente.
