Excellent, homemade food and prices that are more than fair for the quality. Friendly people and great service. It's worth it even if it's not right around the corner, but Garfagnana is always worth it.

A nice table with other couples, a well-kept environment, a large living room with exposed beam ceilings that muffle the noise. The lunch was excellent in terms of quality and quantity, from the appetizers to the artichoke ravioli. Fair price for how much we ate......and drank. We will be back

It's been a long time since I went to the famous Sandra's restaurant but I reluctantly have to give a negative review for both the food and the environment.. In the food very poor and I think not entirely fresh both from the very hard croutons and from the raw and cold rosticciana inside and out very burnt and from the very dry sausage.... tordelli with very aldente pasta... The environment inside today was quite cold and always the same for years... Very kind service... Price for what we ate too high...

Definitely worth trying. Nice and tidy, informal environment. Fast, attentive, organised, welcoming and helpful service. Good quality food at reasonable prices, dishes mostly typical of Garfagnana. Sunday, lunchtime quite crowded but with quiet customers. 2 first courses, 2 second courses, 2 side dishes, 2 desserts, 2 coffees, 1 water price €50 while waiting for the first courses we were offered 2 crostini with lard to pass the short wait. We will be back.

The food here is really good. You feel at home. Generous portions, the food is cooked really well. I recommend it and if you have dogs with you they can always find a place for him too. Congratulations to all the staff.

You have to earn it but it's worth it

We have been coming here for years, and finally I am writing an overdue review. This is such a special place, rustic and so comfortable, and the ride here is splendido, as in fabulous. The menu is limited which makes for wonderful dishes remaining wonderful. The portions are abundant and some sharing is a wonderful option if you are not starving. Sandra was the matriarch and her photos are up and about and now her daughter Serena and her sister manage the still wonderful place. It's a bit magical, like a place out of time. The tagliolini with rabbit sauce is a favorite of mine, and for those who need to taste the tordelli lucchesi, a specialty of the region, these are wonderful too. There is red wine already on the table, a great invitation but one can ask for white. The service is friendly and very competent. There is a warm feeling to the whole experience. We visit the area every year, and are about a half hour's drive. As one goes into the canyon the greenery can take your breath away. We always bring our guests here and we will be back again this season! Complimenti, and for you who go, enjoy!
