it's the most lovely location and quality restaurant, and with such charming friendly people. their fresh pasta is the best i've ever eaten in italy...and i would choose DA SANDRA over everywhere else we always go to :)

We ate very well, it had been a while since we returned due to family health problems, but we had a very good time, indeed more than good👏 amazing tortelli, delicious cod and roast, divine desserts and super wine 💯 good price... Too bad I'm not close 😀 see you soon anyway!!!

Expectations were very high given that it was always fully booked when they called for a table and given the reviews, but apart from the first courses, almost all of which were homemade pasta, such as tordelli, ravioli, tagliolini, etc., we didn't find the rest to be that exceptional, let's say average, but the prices are also average in Garfagnana. There are other places where you can eat better and spend less, and even the welcome and courtesy were not the best... long faces, perhaps they were annoyed because we arrived at 1:50 pm. They pointed out that we were late, when in the end it was they who were a bit slow in serving us. Let's just say that I wouldn't go back there for either the food or the service we received!

The atmosphere is simple and typical of the area, welcoming and familiar. The service was quick and attentive, with very friendly staff. We ate really well, with generous portions and tasty dishes. If you're not a big eater, I recommend sharing a first course: the portions are so generous, you'll have a hard time finishing them.
Excellent price.
Highly recommended.

What a discovery, folks!
Came to eat on Sunday, November 9th with friends and family.
Excellent food, from the generous appetizers to the first courses, main courses, and desserts.
Homemade pasta, desserts too, and a wonderful atmosphere, surrounded by mountains and fresh, clean air.
If you're coming from Lucca or the surrounding area, the view leading to Sandra's will take your breath away.
Low prices compared to other places, and for a small fee, you'll eat well and leave feeling more than satisfied.
Serena served us, always smiling and very friendly.
I recommend booking well in advance as it's hard to find a table.
