I returned to San Giorgio a few nights ago. As always, the staff was very friendly and knowledgeable, especially the sommelier who recommended a selection of exclusive wines. The owner, Danilo, is always very attentive to his customers. A guaranteed success in Genoa. See you soon.

A unique experience, a very chic and elegant venue.
We were welcomed with great enthusiasm and professionalism by the owner Danilo, Mrs. Olga, and Mr. Filippo, who accompanied and pampered us throughout the evening, always with great discretion.
Impeccable service.
The evening was exciting, full of surprises and discoveries by the Chef, who delighted and captivated us with his original and innovative dishes.
Each dish showcased flavor, taste, and tradition... far from banal, all crafted with sophisticated and well-balanced combinations. You can taste the true passion here!

We had dinner here last night, and the experience was outstanding from start to finish.
The food was delicious, featuring unusual traditional ingredients prepared in a creative and innovative way. Every dish felt thoughtful and original.
The interior design is elegant, with beautiful architectural details that create a refined and welcoming atmosphere.
The service was exceptional — everything was handled so smoothly and discreetly that you hardly noticed the work happening behind the scenes. Filippo made the evening especially enjoyable, guiding us through the menu with engaging explanations and a warm, entertaining style.
A special mention to the owner, Danilo Scala, who leads a fantastic team and offers an excellent wine selection that perfectly complements the cuisine.

I had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant, choosing the seven-course "Surprise" tasting menu, and I can say it was an excellent gastronomic experience, worthy of a Michelin star.
The first course, amberjack and pumpkin, was impressive for its balance between the sweetness of the pumpkin and the savory flavor of the amberjack, resulting in a well-structured and truly enjoyable dish.
The scallop, cooked in various ways, including in citron, had the perfect texture and a distinctive aroma that gave the dish an interesting depth of flavor without ever being too invasive.
The cod, along with its sauces and other ingredients, was impeccable, with each element pairing perfectly with the others, creating a truly successful and well-balanced dish.
Another dish that truly impressed was the "Genoa Pearls with Pesto," potato gnocchi stuffed with pesto that exploded in the mouth. A rich flavor and a successful homage to Ligurian tradition, yet with a unique twist.
I remembered them well from the previous time I'd eaten them, even though it was a few years ago, and I couldn't wait to try them again.
The dessert, finally, was balanced and tasty, rounding out the meal pleasantly, without being overly elaborate, but with a perfect balance of flavors.
Even the bread, which can sometimes seem like a minor detail, was truly excellent: with a crispy, light crust, it perfectly complemented every dish, even for mopping up the bread (which the staff said was very welcome!).
Overall, all the other dishes I haven't mentioned lived up to expectations, with truly excellent quality in every course. Each dish stands out for the care, freshness of the ingredients, and the selection of raw materials, with a preparation that reflects the expertise and attention typical of a restaurant of this caliber.
In addition to the quality of the cuisine, the staff was very courteous and professional, creating a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere. The interior is elegant, yet not overly formal, making the experience even more enjoyable.
Overall, a fantastic dining experience that I highly recommend to anyone seeking high-quality dishes, featuring Ligurian tradition reinterpreted in a creative and refined way.

I had dinner for my anniversary with my girlfriend. I'd say it was impeccable. The dishes were innovative and very tasty. The service was very attentive and extremely helpful. The welcome was top notch. In my opinion, it's the best Michelin-starred restaurant in Genoa. Everything was perfect. I'll definitely be back. Thank you for a wonderful evening.
